Aria woke up to a snag and gentle feeling. She placed her hand on the surface to move when she noticed a beat on it. Surprised, she shot her eyes open to only find herself resting on Julian's chest. Her eyes caught up with his grinning face and she couldn't help but blush hard.
"I'm sorry," she managed to say, an apologetic look on her face. Avoiding his face all the while, she left his side and busied herself.
"How was your night?" She asked to break the awkward silence. Julian's lips curved into a smirk.
"Never been better," he replied, his voice laced with sarcasm. How could he afford batting an eyelash when the beauty was his to admire under the moonlight.
Aria turned to face him now that the flush on her cheeks was gone. She studied his face and ended up creasing her brows.
"Your eyes state the opposite," she pointed. The dark circles under his eyes were visible from a mile away.
