Aria and Leon ate their lunch in silence. No one wanted to strike a conversation. The reason for it went without saying. Even General Robertson awkwardly threw furtive glances at them as if expecting something. But when nothing came, he could only sigh silently before he turned to face them.
"How are things in Avon. I heard that the king is being pressured by the council. Who even came up with the idea of that council?" He asked directing his question to no one in particular. Leon poked his fork on his plate fondly as he stared at Aria. Since this was a royal family 'thing', she was supposed to answer it. Aria noticed the look from Leon and she gazed at him skeptically understanding what he meant. Rolling her eyes at him, she turned at General Robertson with a staged smile.
"Things are going on well in Avon General. Apart from a few problems here and there in the palace, the country is running well," she said resuming her eating.
