The murmurs in the hall had now died down and exhilarating yet melodious music replaced the noisy atmosphere. The Lords and Ladies had sat down, each with their daughters or beauties from their kingdoms by their side. Some were dancing regally at the empty space near the front. There, three empty seats were placed, which raised some questions from the audience.
Only members of the royal family could sit at the front. Everyone knew that there were three royal family members but General Robertson was too busy to attend such gatherings. Nevertheless, he was the general of the whole Eldridan army, so it was quite understandable for him to miss on various occasions. But toady seemed like a different day.
