He felt something crawl underneath his skin. It was a sick feeling and it was painful.
Everything was dark and rough and his head was aching. Jinghua tried to get up but realized his hands were tied behind his back, he laid on his stomach. He couldn't remember much but he knew it was all the fault of Xue Quan. He needed to get back to Bingwen. He must have been brought to the cellars. He tried crawling his way to the door. Behind him, Xue Quan steps out of the shadows and comes up behind Jinghua.
Jinghua felt a tug on his hair. He remembered that Bingwen still had his crown. His head was pulled back then smashed against the ground. Xue Quan held Jinghua's face against the ground. "You think you're smart? You can't even escape from your own kind." said Xuw Quan, as he proceeded to grab Jinghua's shoulder and flip him over onto his back, aggressively. "What are you going to do to me?" Jinghua asked, almost in a threatening way. Xue Quan chuckled, his hand making its way around Jinghua's throat. "You should be asking 'what have I done to you'!"
Jinghua began to panic. But that panic turned into a burst of pain. Jinghua groaned, he felt like something was biting him under his skin. Xue Quan continued to chuckle as Juinghua rolled around in pain. "You see, Ning Cheng, my sword and chi are different. What you feel right now is an ice parasite eating you internally. It's small at the moment but the more chi it takes from you, the more it grows. You'll eventually die if you don't get it out." Xuw Quan threw a knife next to Jinghua. "I want to toy around with you a little more so I'll let you live." He then walked out of the room, leaving Jinghua alone. Jinghua struggled to flip over and grab the knife. But once he managed to get a grip around it, he cut the ropes he had been tied in. He moved against the wall and sat there, one hand clenching his hip, the other holding the knife. He panted, gasping as if he was running out of air. He thought for a moment. He would either slowly die or find a way to kill the parasite. He looked at the knife. His idea was painful but if it meant he would live it would work. He tore his robes where he felt the pain and put the point of the knife against his skin. He flinched and grunted as he slowly dug the knife under his skin. He was poking around and made a bigger incision. To keep from yelling in pain he bit his robes. Once the incision he made was big enough, he dug around in the wound with his fingers. It was indeed painful. Everything was covered in blood. But he had to be quick. And then he found it. Something cold and slimy. He pulled his fingers out from under his skin and he threw it. A small white bug covered in his blood squelched and squirmed on the floor. Jinghua crawled over to the bug and stabbed it. Blood, his own blood, sprayed everywhere when the bug died. Jinghua dragged his body to the door. Although it seemed he was too weak. His blood was spilling everywhere. He put pressure onto his hip, just laying on the ground. He didn't give up though. He wasn't done yet.
Chisheng Wei was alone. Alone with her dreadful sister of course. Her sister sat all proper in Ning Lin's throne. Chisheng Wei was forced to bow to her sister, forced to kneel in front of the throne. She was being held at sword-point by the Ning disciples. "Oh, Meiling…if this was everyday, I would be a queen." Chisheng Lei ordered one of the Ning maids to get her tea. Chisheng Lei was indeed a princess. Spoiled, entitled, and hella sexy. She was one of the prettiest kin in all of the eastern region. She had killed many people before, she was a ruthless murderer. And the person she hated the most was her younger sister, Chisheng Wei. "Yawen, what is it you want?" Chisheng Wei asked her sister, not caring that she could possibly die if she spoke.
"Funny you ask. You should know. I want a lot of things in this world but the thing I want most is for you to disappear." said Chisheng Lei. Chisheng Wei was struck directly in the heart. A memory came to her. An old memory. She remembered when her family wasn't bad. When she and her sister got along and played and loved together. Tears streamed down her face as she remembered. A time when her sister was kind. "You disgust me, Meiling. Mother and father always favored you. Father wanted a son but instead got an elder daughter. That's why I have the name of a man. You make me sick. In fact, you are sick. Sick in the head. You want everything to go right but guess what, Meiling, it can't! It can't because I make it that way! One day, you will bow down to me when mother and father are gone. You will bow down to the empress of the Chisheng clan. I will over power you in every single way, Meiling. Just you wait!"
Chisheng Wei was fed up with her sister's bullshit. She burst out in tears. "You're a selfish person, Yawen. Ever since you decided to follow our mother and father's way, you've been selfish. Always trying to bring me down with your nonsense. I ran away to escape from you and your toxic mouth. Your toxic ways. But you always come back around, like the parasite you are!" Chisheng Wei stood up and attacked the two Ning disciples who held her down. She then walked over to her sister, who sat surprised on the throne. She then used her chi to trap her sister on the throne. "You listen to me, Yawen. Someday, and someday soon, I will make your life a living hell just as you did to mine. I will end your overpowering. I will end your nonsense and your parasitic ways. One day, you will wake up and realize that you are no longer on the face of this earth. You will be six feet under the ground, rotting with all the demons and rotten spirits in hell. You're not a hybrid, you're a demon. And I hate you just as much as you hate me. You remember this Yawen and you go home." Chisheng Wei then pulled her sister's hair as the two were now face to face. "You remember this now, Yawen. And then you go home and tell mother that you're going to kill me. That one day, you'll end my life but realize,Yawen. Realize I'll get to you before you get to me."
She finished and let go of Chisheng Lei's hair. She was going to look for Bingwen, leaving her sister. Chisheng Lei wasn't scared or shocked. Just surprised that her sister knew how to stand up against her.
Chisheng Lei chuckled, her cheek resting against her knuckles. She sighed as the maid finally came back with her tea. "I never knew she cared so much about me."
