All Yusheng Min wanted was for her son to be home, her youngest daughter to be found, and for her family to have justice. Yuming had hope that she would find what she was looking for, even if it was only one out of the two things. And Chisheng Wei received the things she requested and her, Yuming, and Hung Meifeng, as well as two other disciples, were on their way to get Jinghua and Bingwen. It was late but time had no importance in their quest. They rode along the river that split the regions to reach Ning. Meanwhile, in Ning, at the palace, Jinghua lay wide awake. He couldn't understand what had happened in Bingwen's dream. Why did he do that? What was the motive? Was there even a reason? Even if there was, Jinghua didn't know. Besides his non-stop thoughts about it, he had hoped that Chisheng Wei would return with help. He didn't care how long it took if it meant he and Bingwen could leave. He had to thank her. She never had to travel with them, she chose to but has been helpful the whole time.
Jinghua stared at Bingwen, staring at the bruises and cuts and whip marks on his back. He was covered in them. Jinghua felt he could relate to Bingwen now. His father used to abuse him the same way. Jinghua looked away, fidgeting with his earring. But he then began to question his feelings about Bingwen. Bingwen had always acted differently around him when they were younger. But ever since he lost his memory, Bingwen had changed from when Jinghua knew him as him. But Jinghua was beginning to feel some sort of attraction towards Bingwen. But he was still unsure. He felt almost lost. And it wasn't something he could just bring up, It was hard to talk about. Jinghua stared back at Bingwen. He wanted to fix Bingwen's torn up and blood stained robes and he wanted Bingwen's injuries to just disappear. He got up to go change his own robes since they were covered in dried blood and also ripped. What angered him was that his own clan, his father, and Xue Quan had hurt Bingwen.
And it seemed like everything had gone so quickly over the last two years. Everything was almost so sudden and misfortune. Time had passed by like it was nothing. Jinghua was scared of turning into his father. He was scared he was going to go mad and kill people just like Ning Lin. At this point, through all they have been through, Jinghua only wanted to keep Bingwen safe.
After changing his robes, he went back and layed down next to Bingwen. It was an intention he had for a small while. He twirled his fingers in Bingwen's hair. Until he heard a commotion coming from the main hall.
"WHERE THE HELL IS MY BROTHER!?!" Yuming swung her sword at Xue Quan and other Ning disciples who fought at the three girls. Yuming and Xue Quan fought each other, Xue Quan had a smile on his face, he wasn't filled with guilt at all. And once she had overpowered him with her sword and he fell to the ground dropping his own sword, Yuming continued to interrogate him. "You bastard! How dare you pretend to be a part of this clan!"
"Lady Yusheng," said Chisheng Wei, "Just leave him. Let's go get your brother and Ning Cheng." Yuming gave Xue Quan one last death stare then followed Hung Meifeng and Chisheng Wei to the hall where Bingwen and Jinghua were.
Bingwen awoke as Yuming burst into the room. "Bojing!" she exclaimed, then launching herself at her brother with a hug, gently, for she knew he had major wounds. The two cried, they shared the same loss for Lanying. And it had been a minute since they had seen each other. Yuming didn' t even question why him and Jinghua were in the same bed, but Chisheng Wei did. Hung Meifeng smiled at Jinghua and nodded her head. "Right then," she said, "Let's get you guys back to the palace. We have a carriage waiting outside." Jinghua got up and helped Bingwen up off the bed as well. It was late, but they were leaving the dreadful place they had been stuck at. They left as soon as they arrived. All five sat inside the carriage as the two extra disciples drove them back to the Yusheng palace. It would at least take them till morning to arrive. Bingwen had fallen back asleep, as well as Jinghua, both resting against each other, not intentionally. Chisheng Wei watched the two, feeling uncertain about it, but kept silent. And Hung Meifeng and Yuming held each other's hands under their robes. Yuming had also fallen asleep. They were finally going home after two years.
