They say 'even the most innocent sound will seem so ominous when it's in the dark'. Well, say weren't kidding. The maid and the princess walked through the dark hall of the castle, s their footsteps reverberated on the wall. The shadows casted on the walls due to the thunder outside looked long and boney. as silvia looked around, she spotted the family portrait that was hang on the wall. her father with his cold and arrogant face, holding onto his wife. and their hey were, her stepsisters. with their sickening sweet smile. And she wasn't included. Of course, she won't be in it. To them she just an invisible person. A person that they couldn't bother to even notice. They can't see her. They can't feel her pain. her struggles to breath, suffocating on her own. At that thought, her beautiful purple gems dulled badly in comparison to the time when she was on the roof. her silver white hair was was fluttering with her movement. Her dull yet pretty eyes were cast down as her cherry lips were set in to a thin like. she walked like a doll. With lifeless eyes.
'knock- knock' then suddenly the soft sound of the door knock cut her train of thought as she blinked and looked up at the two massive doors that led to her father's study room.
"come in" her father's deep voice came from the other side. As the door opened Silvia saw her father sitting on the desk that was at the center of the study room and a nostalgic feeling gushed in to her heart.
' father' she heard herself in one of her memories. in her memory, she was standing infront of the desk looking at her comparably younger father.
'My dear, have you finished the book I gave you?' . she remembered she was at that time. she even was so joyous cause her father called her 'dear'
'yes father I have finished it.'
'good child' he praised, as he stood from his chair and went to her side. He rubbed her soft silver hair and stood up. And in the next second the gentleness disappeared from his face as he turned to the man in right and asked. ' so how was the result? any improvement on her?'
'your majesty...' the man hesitated looking at the little girl beside him.' their seems to be something wrong. we can't find any improvement but...there seem to be something peculiar.'
Just as the man finished speaking king regaleon ordered his servants to take the princess away.
And that is where the memory ended. She wanted to know why were they so secretive when they were talking about her. Button she never had the chance to ask because of the disaster after that. after entering the quiet room, the maid bowed and left while Silvia stood there quietly. It feels awkward now. being in the same room with her father. she couldn't hold it any longer and she broke the silence.
" you called for me, your highness?" came her emotionless and formal word. It has been a while now since she started calling her father formally.
" Have a sit silvia." he replied after looking at her for a while. she sat down carefully but quickly as to get done with it already and leave.
"Ahem..." he cleared his rough voice to start his conversation. " how have you been lately?"
"fine, your highness." again came her short curt word.'just get to the point' she wanted to say but chose to bite on her pink lips. after much contemplation, he sighed loudly and laid back on the chair." I was thinking... " he started." about what you said before". Silvia frowned at his words. which one was he talking about? was it the time when she told him to give her, her mother's belonging, or was it when she told him she wanted to go out of the castle because she felt suffocated, or was it the time she asked him to spend some time with her or let her see the garden, or play with other kids, or use her power like any kelvenian or was it the time when she told him she wanted a doll because she can't sleep at night or maybe he wanted to grant her her wish to just let her die! which one! which one!!!!
Her breathing got ragged at the sudden rash of thoughts that overwhelmed her. She wanted to ask him. After a dead suffocating silence he opened his mouth to say:
"I am letting you go to the human world."
