Keir is the lord of those mountains, the bringer of winter, the summoner of wolves, the silver eyed dragon. She had learned the prayer as a child, but had never known it referred to the boy they had kept in chains.
She had not known then that there were children of Domirr who were Gods in their own right. Or that there were stars with such power that Gods could only envy. Keir's mother was one such woman. A star born among dragons instead of earthbound, they called her the silver eyed goddess.
