As soon as the car pulled into the pack lands, wolves waited at the gates, running along side the car, the moment the car stopped the back door opened and I was in Quinn's arms "why is there so much blood?!" Quinn shouted horrified at the sight of so much blood. "I don't know she took a sip of water and started coughing, then it led to this" Stella stattered as Quinn rushed inside the pack house "GIN!" Quinn yelled running into the pack infirmary, the door broke from it's hold on the doorway, falling onto the floor with a slam as the doctors jumped at the sudden noise.
"Help her" Quinn begged
"We will do the everything we can alpha" the female said as Quinn laid me on the bed. I clunch the sheets of the bed arching my back in pain, it hurts so much. The female started a quick examination before ordering a nurse to get a IV line connected. "She's having a reaction to a large amount of aconite in her system" the doctor said looking at me with a synthetic look.
"Back in the werewolf reigh days, the first name of the plant that hurts us wolves; aconite or in other words Wolfsbane" she said, Quinn let out a deadly growl and punched a wall in anger that someone tried to kill his mate. A nurse walked over to me with a IV line, putting it in my arm and took a rag cleaning my face of the blood "t-thank you" I said weakly, she nodded "your welcome Luna". Quinn stalked over to me, gently grabbing my hand kissing my knuckles "how are you feeling love?" He asked sweetly putting his attention on me, gently touching my cheek with his hand "weak" I inhale giving him a weak smile as he softened.
"Luna will be a little weak for a while but she should be fine, from the symptoms I am seeing, I have seen this before, your having a reaction that not any normal werewolf would have, I'll take some blood to see what it is, but in a few hours you should be fine to go, I'm glad we caught it in time before it could reach your heart" the doctor said with a smile.
"Thank you Gin" Quinn said and she nodded "it's no problem, please don't let me have you on my table again Luna" she said before going to check on other patients. Once she left, Quinn turned back to me and kissed my head "god you scared me, please don't do that again I thought I was gonna loose you" Quinn leaned his forehead on mine, his breath fanning my face. "I-i'm sorry, I didn't know" I said holding his hand.
"I will get the son of a bitch who did this, Ashlee I swear it" he promised as he tried to get his wolf under control. "There was a woman, our waiter" I said trying to remember the details, Quinn looked at me as he sat down on the chair by the bed "do you remember what she looked like or any details?" Quinn asked looking for any details he could get.
"She didn't give her name but she had dark shoulder length hair and blue eyes, a scar on her eyebrow, skinny, she was acting weird when she served me and stella" I said as my eyes begun to flutter.
"Thank you love, you done well now rest" he said standing up and kissed my forehead, as he went to walk away I grabbed his shirt stopping him "where is Stella?" I asked trying to stay awake, he turned back to me "she's waiting in the living room" he said giving me a resuring smile and I let him go watching him leave the room.
The last thing I heard was things crashing before I fell asleep.

Later in the day, Quinn came back and picked me off the bed walking out of the pack house "where are we going Quinn?" I asked as we walked down a path right of the pack house "this was supposed to be a surprise but I guess now is a good time" Quinn replied as we stopped in front of a cabin, with a front porch and two rocking chairs and a flower bed surrounded the porch. "What is this place?" I asked confused as he sets me down on my feet.
"Our house" Quinn smiled down at me, taking my hand, I gasp "really?" .
"It was my parents house when they were still alpha and Luna, they left it to me so I decided to have red put new furniture fixing some things" Quinn said like he was remembering a childhood memory. "It's beautiful" I say as we stepped inside the house. To the right was a L-shaped couch with a coffee table in front of it, pillows and a throw blanket covered the couch.
A TV was attached to the wall, curtains hung from the windows on both sides, to the wall behind the couch was two large shelves filled with books and small plants each shelf with a chair beside the shelf in the corner. To the left of the room was the kitchen that had a island separating the kitchen from Living room, four stools sat around the side, a small table sat in the middle of the kitchen, a glass double door connected to the kitchen to a screened in porch that had a couch, end tables, coffee table and another tv. Down the hall by the bookcase was a bathroom and two bedrooms and a office, hallway closet and laundry room.
"Do you like it?" Quinn asked standing in the doorway watching me as I explored the house new smells meeting my nose, a smile formed on my face "no" I said turning to him as his smile disappeared"I love it, thank you" I said wrapping my arms around his neck planting a kiss on his lips. A smile formed on his face again as he picked me up spinning making me giggle.
"I'm glad you love it" he said As he started to walk, I wrap my legs around his waist to keep myself from falling. I squeal when he lightly dropped me on the couch "now rest" he said walking into the kitchen pulling out a water bottle and put it on the coffee table for me "make sure to drink water" he said, I was a little wary of it but I still drink it not wanting to argue with him.
