The pack members slowly made their way to the dining room, sitting together with their own groups and talking, to the side of the room was a table for kids, where they were throwing food at each other and laughing.
"Mom! Wendy got ketchup in my eye again!" Diane cried running to the young blonde haired woman who was sitting with other moms, she turned in her chair with a napkin gently grabbing her child's chin. "Stop throwing things" she said raising her voice so that the children could hear her. She finished cleaning the child's face then smiled, kissing her cheek "go finish dinner dia" she smiled watching the child run back to the children table.
I turn back to my food, Quinn sitting at the head of the table, Westley across from me, then Stella, chase, Blake, a very pregnant Silvio, maria, Etha, Kristy and finally Samuel. "How long until you give birth?" I asked curiously turning to Silvio, who had blonde almost silver hair with icy blue eyes. She smiles and put her hand on her belly "they are gonna be here in a few weeks" Silvio beamed. "Twins?" I perked up, she nodded happily.
"Yep one boy, one girl" Silvio leaned forward to my left Quinn and Westley talked about pack business and such. "Congratulations! Have you picked any names yet?" I asked pushing my plate out of the way and put my elbows on the table, leaning forward interested in this conversation. "Oliver and Olivia" Silvio smiles like she has been wanting someone to ask about the babies all day. "But I have different ideas" Westley piped in with a grin before going back to his conversation.
"Awe! That is so adorable Silvio" I said grinning.
"Thank you. Do you want any pups in the future?" She asked pointing to her belly as she watched me, I see Quinn perk up in the corner of my eye, a little interested in what I have to say. "Hm maybe in the future" I say.
"Children huh?" Quinn said focusing his thoughts towards me his eyes almost looked like they were smiling. I look at him giving the look to not get any ideas "we will talk about this in the future" I mind linked him with a chuckle before turning back to the conversation with Silvio as Stella piped in "so how did you like the ceremony?" She asked whispering amongst me us three before shoving a spoon full of mashed potatoes in her mouth. I blush remembering last night's events, all of them "I loved it actually, the ceremony was beautiful" I say trying not to to give her too much to ask questions.
Stella smirked "so I see" she said pointing to the nape of her neck referring to my own, while looking at me. I quickly covered my mark where Quinn's teeth indentations bared onto my skin like a tattoo, my cheeks burned red "u-um yeah" I say nervously, Quinn noticed my nervousness "Stella stop teasing her" he said a warning laced in his voice. "I know, I know alpha I'll stop" she said putting her hands up in surrender. She turned back to her food in defeat, my hands clutched the chair under me as my body suddenly grew unbearable hot.
"Ashlee, we're in heat, it's dangerous to be in here with so many unmated males" hanna warned pushing forward in my head like a siren. The heat only started to turn up so I got up, grabbing my plate in the process "where are you going love?" Quinn asked noticing that I got up.
"Bathroom" I lied.
"Okay" he said kissing my hand, I took the opportunity and walked as fast as I could out of the room before my scent could ware off. I walk into the kitchen and wash my plate then headed for the stairs bumping into a pack member around the age of 16.
"Good afternoon Luna" he greeted
"Good afternoon" I say trying to put space between us, but acting as natural as I could while hanna tried to hold in our scent as long as she could. I bit my check as the taste of rich copper filled my mouth "are you okay? Do you need me to get the alpha?" The boy asked looking concerned.
I shake my head "no, I'm okay" I said quickly before running up the stairs "Ashlee hurry! I can't hold it much longer!" Hanna yelled in my head making me go faster until I reached the bedroom, quickly closing the door and locking it so nobody came in.
Pealing off my clothes I tossed them to the floor and went to the bathroom, turning on the water to the tub waiting for it to fill with cold water but it took too long, turning on the overhead I sit on the shower floor letting the water flow over my boiling skin.
"Hot, it's so hot" I trembled from the burning feeling under my skin, unconsciously my nails dug into my skin, I lean my head in the shower wall and close my eyes.

"Ashlee!" A voice called out, waking me up as their hands touched my skin making me cry out "your in heat" the voice said only when I opened my eyes is when I knew it was Quinn kneeling in the shower getting soaked by the water as the cold water flooded the floor.
"It's so hot, under my skin" I mumble, Quinn turned off the water and picked me up, setting me in the tub as it was filling with water. I clench Quinn's wet shirt in my hands as he put a t-shirt on my naked body letting it soak against my wet skin. He spaced out for a moment mind linking someone "I got you Ashlee" he said as his eyes turned brighter due to his wolf reacting to my pheromones, he was holding himself back. "no love, not while your in heat" he said shaking his head as if he knew I would ask something.
Moments later, red walked in with a bucket full of ice, towels and rags in her other hand "thank you red" Quinn asked as she started to pour the ice in the tub making my skin shiver in it's wake.
She sits the bucket down on the floor and smiles at him "it's no problem, seeing as it's her first head and the strongest one she will need to stay in the tub to control the heat, I will stay with her" she said as she pulled a stool to the tub as I fall back asleep.

I woke up again to see red still on the stood but Quinn gone, she was rubbing my forehead with a clothe "how long have I been out?" I asked as she started to shift the water around the tub. "You were in and out for the since yesterday, so me and Quinn moved you to the bed about six hours ago and moved you back in here once your heat got back up" red replied.
My eyes widen as I sit up "Don't get up" she said frowning.
"But-" I started but was quickly stopped with reds glare. "No but's, you stay" she said in a voice that made me just want to lay under the water and not get on her bad side.
