Tables and chairs were set up around the yard, Children chasing each other around the tables with giggles and happy yells.
Quinn grabs a plate and starts to put food on it moving down the table and grabbing a drink, I do the same and follow him to our table. The pack members wait for us to get our food before getting theirs and start to spread out to tables to eat the food. Once I sat down, Quinn's large hand found it's way to my thigh resting on it, we start to eat in silence that we both enjoyed. A pack member walked to the table, his hand never leaving its place under the covers of the table clothe. "Alpha, Luna the pack run will be beginning soon, the beta wanted me to let you know" the boy said "okay thanks Aaron" quinn replied with a smile then the boy ran off back to the kids to play.
Quinn continued to eat his food, I was finally able to breath the pressure finally dissolved. With shakey hands I finish my food.
He got up and gave me his hand, I get up as well and we walk to the pack members who were slowly gathering by the woods, the sun set behind the branches of the trees leaving the moon to its wake "To complete the ceremony under the full moon take a run through the woods as now the pack is completed with our new luna, it has been ten years since our pack has had a luna, now after the long wait the chair is finally filled" quinn said to the pack members before walking behind a tree and took off his clothes then shifting into his large black wolf, his snout had white hairs covering it to his eyes with gold eyes that glistened in the moonlight.
He lightly pushed me with his nose to the tree to shift, I step behind the tree and take off my clothes, getting on my knees and feeling my bones shift and break until I fully shirt into my wolf. I pick up my clothes in my mouth and walk out from behind the tree to quinn, the pack members already shifted. Red walked forward and gently took my clothes and Quinn's who was the only one who hasn't shifted along with the kids.
'Thank you red' I mind link red who nods
'Your welcome luna, your clothes will be here when you get back' red mind linked back before quinn walked beside me and nudged me, hanna licked his snout and quinn starts to howl. I howl with them, the group joined in and quinn took off in a run with me following him with the pack behind us. Quinn nipped at my paws, hanna nipper back playfully, going back and forth with each other running through the woods, different colors and sizes of wolves running after us, yipping happily. The one thing I love about being a wolf is the earth under my feet, the dirt between my paws and the scent that carried out through the woods.
A hour later, we ran back to the pack house, the pack members dispersing into their homes leaving me and quinn, red handing us our clothes and we thank her as she goes back inside, we both go to our trees and put our clothes back on. "Thank you" I say once I see quinn, a big smile on my face "you welcome love, but the night isn't over" he said wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me against his stomach. My head reached his shoulder, yes I am short compared to this giant.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I didn't hear anything about plans after the run.
"Come love" quinn said putting his tie around my eyes and tied ig,grabbing my hand and guiding me back through the woods "where are we going?" I asked reaching my spare hand out to feel for something, temporarily blind being guided by quinn. "Were almost there" quinn chuckled before stopping me then let go of my hands, I reach out to grab something so I don't trip but he stops me from moving.
"Now take it off" quinn said his hand on my hip, I grabbed the tie and lifted it off my head looking at the scene in front of me where a camp fire sat with a blanket spreaded out on the ground, two baskets, two glasses, another blanket and two pillows sat on the blanket, flower puddles on the blanked and around the fire, string lights hang around on the trees lighting up the area.
Fireflies popped up ever few seconds in the background, I smile amazed "wow, its beautiful quinn" I say looking around slowly walking to the set up. The fire was warm against my skin even though I wasn't standing in front of it, it was nice. "Do you like it?" Quinn asked standing behind me.
"I love it" I said turning to his and giving him a light kiss.
"I'm glad you do, I wanted to make tonight perfect" he said kissing me back.
He guides me to the to the blanket, taking off his shoes and we sit down on the blanket then reached over pulling out a container with chocolate and the other with strawberries and a bottle of wine. "This is fancy" I giggle leaning against his shoulder watching as he took the tops off the containers and opened the bottle of wine, pouring it in the glasses, he laughed and handed me the glass.
We talk and laugh, dipping the strawberries in the chocolate eating them and sipping on our wine. The taste of the wine was a little on the strong side, something I'm not used to since I never drank any alcohol in my life.
I look up at quinn and our eyes meet, like the world stopper, time froze and it was just us. He grabbed my face and kissing me hard, my glass fell out of my hand into the grass and went up to his hair, lightly gripping it.
I break away from the kiss breathless "mark me" I say.
Quinn smiles "are you sure your ready?" He asked
"Yes" I said the aching of my body wanting to be close to his. He gently grabbed my neck, his teeth poke at the spot where he is to mark me, kissing the spot then sinks his teeth into my skin. I let out a yell of pain before it disappeared and was replaced with pleasure, quinn kissed the mark sending shivers through my body as he closed the wound with his kiss, leaving the teeth indention scarred into my neck.
Moving back I bit his neck, by his collarbone sinking my teeth to mark him, his body stiffened clunching at my thighs. I removed my teeth from his neck licking the mark to close the wound. I kiss him and he pulls my dress off over my head leaving me in my lingerie, his eyes darkened s low growl in approval leaves his throat. "You don't know what you are doing to me pup" quinn said I grin and he ripped the clothing off not being able to hold himself back and lowering my body onto the blanket, pulling off his shirt and shorts.
That night we laid under the stars, by a warm fire in the woods and finishing the mating bond, forgetting about the world around us.
