"Do you like it?" Ginny asked out of the blue, her tone light, but there was a hint of genuine curiosity in her voice.
"Like what?" Persephone tilted her head.
"All the attention you get," Ginny clarified, her gaze steady and earnest.
Persephone felt a sudden vulnerability under Ginny's doe-like gaze, as if she were being quietly assessed—but not judged. The question caught her off guard, stirring thoughts she hadn't fully considered before.
She paused for a moment. "Maybe," she replied with a casual shrug.
Did she like attention? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. But one thing Persephone knew with absolute certainty—what she truly wanted was Ginny's attention, and only Ginny's, all for herself.
