Minutes passed when she felt Ginny begin to stir, her eyes fluttering open, but Persephone remained still, letting her arm continue to serve as a makeshift pillow for the latter.

She wouldn't deny it, she'd spent the entire time staring at the latter's sleeping face. It was pretty uncharacteristic of her, but she couldn't help it. It felt as though she hadn't seen Ginny in ages, even though it had only been a day since they had their feelings unravel to each other—well, mostly on her part.

"Hi there," Persephone greeted softly as an involuntary smile tugged at her lips looking at her groggy expression.

Ginny blinked a few times before realizing her head had been resting on her arm. She quickly shifted, pulling away slightly. "Sorry about that," she mumbled, her gaze dropping to the sand as she avoided eye contact.
