Eve's POV.
Zach told me his devilish plan to not only make James jealous and infuriated but also to anger my parents.
I quickly got dressed into one of my nicer dresses that showed of all of my wonderful curves, if I do say so myself. It was black and had spaghetti straps.
Zach pulled out a suit from somewhere and dressed in a black suit that really looked good on him. He really knew how to dress up.
Now that we were both ways over dressed for the occasion Zach offered his arm for me to grab as we headed out of our room and down the stairs where the voiced could be heard once again.
"Don't be nervous, just have some fun with it." Zach said, clearly, he knew that I was a little nervous about this.
The little butterflies in my stomach didn't go away but they lessened by a lot. I smiled and thanked him once again for being so amazing and supportive.
"HAhaha!"
"Oh, you are so funny Young Master James."
"Please you are to kind." James said.
Turing the corner into the room my worst fears were brought to life. James Walters was sitting in the family room, happily talking and laughing with my parents.
I couldn't help but make a disgusted face luckily Zach tugged on my sleeve to snap me out of it.
"Mother you didn't tell me that we had a guest." I said holding Zach's hand.
"What, why are you dressed up so nicely for." My mother said clearly ignoring my question.
I didn't want to get into another argument with my mother, so I just decided to tell her that Zach and I had plans made for this morning.
"Zach and I have breakfast plans in the city this morning."
"You never told any of us that."
"I am not a child I don't need to give you my activity list. Now if you please Zach and I must really leave or we will be late for our reservation."
I tried to move towards the door, however it seemed that James had other plans. He wasn't going to let us leave that easily it seemed.
"Wait. I just got here, I came to see you. The least you could do was accept these flowers that I brought for you Miss. Eve." He said as he handed me the bouquet of flowers in his hands.
Before I could even decline his gift, Zach reached around me and grabbed them.
"Thank you for such lovely grocery store flowers." Zach said as he effortlessly ripped off the grocery store tag hanging from the bottom.
James' face turned beat red in embarrassment.
Right as I was about to retort Zach once again beat me to the punch and spoke up.
"Thank you so much. I appreciate the thought however Eve is allergic to flowers so if you are trying to impress her. Try choosing something that won't kill her."
'What I am not allergic to flowers at all!' My mother and I both thought at the same time.
'Wait why is he making it seem like the flowers were for him though.' I thought.
'What the FUCK! They aren't for you jackass.' James thought as fury started to overtake him.
I was sensing that things were starting to get out of control, and I really didn't want to get into a big fight first thing in the morning. I was having so much fun teasing and embarrassing James that I forgot that we really did have a reservation for breakfast.
"Well anyways! We both still have a reservation that we need to get to so goodbye!" I yelled as I grabbed Zach and dragged him out of the house and into the car as fast as I could.
