Both POVs.
Eve's POV.
After I received the flowers from Zach everyone in the lobby started hooting and hollering like little kids when they win a pizza party.
It was annoying at first but a part of me felt like everyone in the company had accepted my relationship with my husband.
It warmed my heart a little, no a lot.
"Thank you." I said to Zach as I smelled the wonderful flowers. They smelled amazing.
"Of course. I just wanted to show my appreciation for you."
My heart started to beat faster and faster, my cheeks even got redder. His words could have such an impact on me. I never had any feelings for him but for some reason he was finding his way into my heart.
Slowly but surely.

Cain my bodyguard and driver parked the car at the main house as Zach and I got out and headed inside.
We were just in time for dinner.
Everyone was already gathered around the table as the maids brought out plates and dishes filled with food for everyone.
"About time you showed up."
"Tch and I was having such a nice evening."
"Way to ruin dinner."
My cousins and relatives started bad mouthing me as soon as we entered the dinning hall. They really hated me for no reason. Or is the reason that I was able to build a company all on my own.
'Were they jealous that I was able to do something that they could not?'
Anyways not wanting to think about my horrible family any longer Zach and I sat down at the table and waited to be served.
We were served last.
The maids that worked for the family were instructed to serve people based on importance and how much they meant to the family. Naturally Grandfather always got served first and then his children, my father and then the cousins and finally me.
It was always humiliating, with how my cousins always sneered and laughed at me. It was worse today because Zach was served after me so all of my cousins ganged up on him.
I looked over to him, my face beat red. He saw me and just smiled at me like what they had to say and did to him didn't bother him in the least.
'How are you so strong. It's humiliating being served last and ridiculed.' I thought.
Luckily we were able to get through dinner without any problems, well except for the fact that my parents kept bringing up me getting a divorce from Zach.
Which was never going to happen!
They kept trying to push James Walters onto me and I hated that guy he was gross and thought all women were beneath him. He was the type of guy that went after things/ people he couldnt have and then once he got them he would control every single aspect of them.
It would be a living hell if my parents got their way and sent me to him.
"Are you ok."
As we were walking to our room, 'our room' Zach spoke up and asked me.
I turned and faced him.
"No i am not ok. Why is it so hard for my family to leave me be. What right do they have to try and force me to get divorced. If they like James Walters so bad why don't they marry him." I said.
I couldn't control my emotions and started venting to Zach about everything that was bothering me over the years. Tears started to sting my eyes.
"Why am I looked down on when I started my own company from scratch without any help from grandfather. Why was I forced to get married all those years ago when they weren't. Sniff. Sniff. It's not fair." I let it all out.
Zach just held me there for a while and lightly patted my back. It was so soothing and comforting, i never wanted it to end. Apparently I was more stressed and tired than I thought as my eyes started to get heavy and the next thing I knew I was falling asleep standing their in his arms.
With a big smile on my face.
