Zach's POV.
After Eve fell asleep in my arms. She was able to get at least some of the stress and stuff that has been weighing on her mind off of it. By venting to me.
I picked her up bridal style and slowly, carefully walked to our bedroom. Setting her down on the bed nice and gently, I didn't want to disturb her sleep.
I looked down at her sleeping now on the bed. SHe looked so sweet and peaceful, it made me wonder why her family didn't like her and why they tried so hard to ruin her life.
She looked like an angel, just lying their.
My face turned cold the next second as I picked up my phone and dialed a number.
"Meet me at the coffee shop from last time." I said over the phone to Cain.
After I ended the call i bent down and kissed Eve on her forehead, whispering sweet dreams to her before I exited her room and the house.
It was late at night, around eight o'clock. I could have waited til tomorrow to take care of and talk to Cain, but I knew that I wouldnt be ble to sleep if I wated.
I didnt want to attract any attention so I snuck out the back, making sure that none of the night time staff and security guards saw me. Taking a car would definetly blow my cover so I had to make the decision to just walk down the hill and find a bus stop.
I was able to find a bus stop a little ways away and took it to the coffee shop that luckily doubled as a bar at night. Where I was meeting Cain.
It took me about an hour by bus to finally make it to the coffee shop/ bar. I walked inside, not bothering with the bartender giving his greeting nor the curious people that always watch people enter and leave bars. I headed straight to the baack where Cain took me last time and opened the door.
"You finally made it boss, I was beginning to wonder." Cain said, sitting at the table in the center. It was also the only table in the room.
"Yea I had to take the bus. Didn't want to draw attention." I said as I took a seat on the opposite side of him.
"So what did you want to talk about."
"I want to start the plan a little early. Eve seems to be breaking down and I dont want that nor do I want her family to see her weak and use it against her."
Cain was quiet or a moment, thinking hard about what I just said. I assumed.
"That is risky, and will change things." He finally said.
"What is risky about starting sooner and why will it chage things?" I asked
"Well let's just say once we make our move, it will cause James to move as well and he will most likely ger desperate. He will probably try to force the divorce betweeen you and Eve even more, or he might do something more drastic."
"Ohh."
I didn't think about that, I assumed that he would do something after being attacked but never in a million years did I think that he might go after Eve even harder than before.
"Ok let's do this then..."
Cain and I talked for a while discussin our plan and how to make sure that Eve was well protected and also that she wasn't going to be aware or in the cross fire of our attack.
The night dragged on and I didn't leave the coffee shop/ bar til around eleven o'clock at night.
When my head hit the pillow at midnight I immedietly passed out completely exhausted from my eventful day.
