Chapter 57 - Resuming Work

Esmeralda woke up and looked beside to Kain sleeping beside her. She couldn't help but admire how graceful the very much cold hearted prince could look when asleep. She reached out and slowly grazed her skin against his skin and Kain's breathing heightened. She pulled back her hand and smiled then she looked at the alarm clock on the bedside table '05:02 AM'. She quietly crept out of the bed and walked up to her dresser. She looked back at Kain to make sure that he was still asleep then she slipped off her nightie and grabbed a bathrobe. She tied it and turned back to look at Kain. In as much as she knew it was not right, she could help but accept the dirty thoughts that filled her mind as she looked at him.
