Gone was the narrow mountain path, and before Qiao Sang lay a vast expanse of green open space.
Within her field of vision, she suddenly spotted two wild pet beasts.
On the grass, a Lithe Sparrowhawk was chasing after a Saddleback Caterpillar.
A normal-sized Lithe Sparrowhawk would be around 14 centimeters, but the one in front of her was fat and sizeable, obviously overfed.
It looked to be about 25 centimeters long, its body mostly a grape grey-brown color with the head being chestnut brown, a black line extending from the head straight to the end of the tail.
The bird's beak seemed exceptionally sharp and long for its size.
The Lithe Sparrowhawk was a gregarious pet beast, and even if there weren't many on the mountain, there must be members of its kind nearby.
Qiao Sang, however, had no intention of engaging these two wild pet beasts in combat.
