I was surprised when I got to the dean's office of WRC and saw my mate , I Knew she was in college or about finishing but I didn't know it would be this one . i went to the college because I wanted to relate with the staff there since WRC is one of the colleges where I bought shares from many years ago but I had never seen it .
I know it sounded funny and foolish but it's the truth , I did alot of research about the college and Fredick went to the place to see and told me it would be a good investment so I didn't bother .
I wanted to see for my self today and invest in their new programme where they offer scholarships to those who can't afford it and try to make an impact in the society by helping the less privileged . The programme was called CAFN - cater for those in need. The university is collaborating with a NGo on this so I thought if I can be of help to why not .
Anyways not until I meet my mate at the office in the same college, when I saw her , I was trying to ignore her because of the uncontrolled urge that both conri and I were feeling , I just had to act composed because we were in a different setting than where we were yesterday.
We were having occasional glances at each other in a civilised manner . I just laughed right now cause I knew that I was just squirming in my seat trying not to give out my self so I took my cellphone to pretend I was doing something important 😅 .
It was hard trying to act serious 😒 with conri laughing at me from time to time. When she left the office , I let out a gasp I didn't know I was holding .
' Are you okay ?' The dean asked with concern
' Yes , I am but can we schedule this meeting to another day ?'. I replied
' Yes of course, Mr Jason ' . he answered
' My secretary will get back to you on the day and time ' . I said as i left the office .
Not that I had anything doing I just wanted to leave and find my mate. I checked the hallway and she wasn't there I proceeded to the college gate as fast as I could , thinking just maybe I would find her as conri was threatening me to change to wolf form. some of my fur was already peaking out I kept on hinting to conri that we aren't home , we still at human realm and it's broad day light, we can do this later conri .
He had some sense left in him after all and reluctantly laid low .
Hours had gone I searched through the city , I still had not seen detrissa . I gave up the search and i went to stay in one of my houses at cornelia estate which was closer to me than my other apartment in western Brooks.
I proceeded to the estate gate where there were numerous security men guarding the estate, I didn't mind them I just zoomed in , the estate was for the elite , am talking about business tycoons , presidents, A list celebrites , some that i can't even but you get it , due to various scandals and to avoid the press from time to time , have this kind of patrol . I got the King's Street which was where my house was in the estate. There were really long gold plated street light , with fancy security cameras perking out of them , a lot had changed since i was last here . I was about parking when the delicious smell of lavender and chocolate flooded my nostrils . I knew that there was a possibility of seeing detrissa here , I heard from my dad that her family was one of the founding partners of the estate but I didn't want to get my hopes up since i searched whole city and i still couldn't find her, I got down from my car and followed the scent , I got to a garden where there were beautiful roses , and saw a bungalow , I knocked on the door but no one answered, I noticed the door was unlocked so I walked in which i know was wrong and very dangerous , at that i couldn't even think or reason so don't judge me , there was someone humming and I thought It 'oh could be detrissa ' . So I went to where the sound was coming from which was the kitchen . The kitchen was dimly lit . I saw the physique of the person singing , I was so sure it was detrissa . I hugged her from behind instead she kicked me in the balls and asked me who I was , I was confused , I looked for the light switch and turned it on , thinking maybe just maybe she didn't see me well , she still looked me straight in the eye once more asking who I was ....
