Detrissa's Pov
As I was walking down the stairs , the delicious smell of pancakes filled my nostrils . When I got to the kitchen , I was amazed to see Jason frying it . This man I don't know what to do with him .
" Good morning " I said cheerfully as I got to where he was .
" Good morning " he greeted back with a scornful look .
I ignored him as nothing could make me sad this morning, I got my dream internship .
" I saw you got me clothes , thanks for the thought " I said smiling from ear to ear.
" Well , your dress sense is awful so your welcome , at least you don't look homeless " he replied.
" Can you just be nice for once , it won't kill you , you know , anyways have a great day " I said looking at him with a disdainful look , I quickly pecked his cheeks and ran off . I didn't think about what his reaction would be and i didn't want to know either , For once , I just want to act without thinking , love without knowing at least have a taste of it . I said to myself, knowing mo could also hear me .
' Hmmm, someone is really in a good mood ' Mo said gleefully.
' Why not , Is it bad for me to peck my mate on this beautiful day' . I replied
' No oh , am happy that you are happy , you know it's just been one sided these past few days so am glad to have you back , dee' . Mo said
' I am too , am sorry for dragging you into all my drama , I know you were really happy to find our mate , I didn't mean for things to lead to this , mo ' I said feeling really bad , our relationship had really been put on a strain ever since we found Jason.
I was so immersed in talking to Mo that I didn't realise that time had gone , it was 5 minutes to 10am and I was resume by 10am . I locked the door with my fingerprint , rushed to my car , opened the car door and put my things in the passenger seat , I quickly fastened my seat belt and drove off .
All I could think about was how to freeze the hands of time and get to my destination early , but if only dreams come true that would be off my checklist . Meanline, in reality I pressed my speed pedals with force and was moving now at 100Km/hour which was above the normal limit , with each passing minute I increased it by 5 till I got to my destination. I didn't even know when I got out of the estate nor when I arrived at my destination.
I pulled up to see the white and golden signage where the words displayed were " Vanice Morre Enterprises ". I couldn't help but gasp by how big the signage was , it was big enough to cover my whole house , that alone was screaming wealth , I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was already 10:30am . I quickly looked for the nearest parking lot , Thank God there was one behind the signage . I packed my bag with a notepad and biro that i had left in the car for only god knows how long . I got down from the car and locked it ....
