Chapter 19 - SCHOOL DOJO

As they were done with eating they both went to the school dojo, knowing the importance of genetic warriors the school made sure that the students got sufficient training in combat, but only those who were awakener's where allowed to train, the school did allow students who were non awakeners to get basic training in combat but they were never given proper attention as the true training was giving to the awakeners as they were the future of humanity.

Walking into the dojo with Uche, Jason was greeted by the familiar sight of a vast hall with training equipment, it looked no different than a normal gym as you could see student lifting weights or throwing punches at a punching bag, seeing their determination Jason shook his head, he knew many of them would not be able to become genetic warriors, apart from a strong body and determination you need a good spiritual affinity, and not everybody had spiritual affinity.

To step on the path of cultivating genetic energy, you first needed to strengthen your body to the limit, that was one of the reasons why genetic energy cultivation was hard in the first place as the first generation of genetic energy cultivators found it hard to train to their limit's, but with the help of the energy drink's crated by Mr. white it became much easier, these energy drink's would be taken after training as it made the process of body cultivation much faster.

Walking past an office room Jason remembered how he felt when he was told he had no spiritual affinity at all, in that same room all his dreams had been crushed to pieces as he was told he had no spiritual affinity, he remembered the countless hours of his time he spent training his body to the limit staying healthy drinking the bitter tasting energy drinks he could remember countless hours he spent training his combat skills.

He remembered feeling depressed for some time until he was able to recover, thanks to the help of his family, with newly found determination squeezing his fist Jason said to himself, "I had no chance of becoming a genetic warrior before, but now that I have the opportunity, I will become one of the strongest.

Arriving in front of a wide door Jason and Uche inserted their student ID into the door as it opened with a click looking at the long stairs that led downwards Jason said the "training room is underground" looking at Jason Uche said "yeah" and under the jealous stares of the student level trainees Jason and Uche walked forward as the door closed behind them.

Arriving at the underground room Jason felt as if he was in a new world as there where state of art training equipment everywhere rooms made with transparent glass, making you able to see the students training inside, inside these rooms where also metal robot's holding different weapons, holographic screens and a cushion which Jason assumed was for cultivation.

There was a round ring in the middle of the large room, looking at the floor of the ring which was made out of special materials Jason didn't even need to be told that it was a fighting ring.

Looking to the side Jason could see student from different classes wearing white uniforms sparring with each other, a vending machine that seemed to be filled with healing solutions and energy drinks was placed on the side of the room, turning his head to the left side of the room, Jason could see three doors, their uses where unknown.

Seeing Jason looking around Uche said pointing to the rooms, these are training rooms the metallic robots are used to train your skills, you can battle them as they are set at one level lower than you by default, but you can set it to any level you want, but don't get cocky, it's common for students to get injured by the robots, they won't kill you as they would stop attacking when they notice you are in a critical condition.

Listening to Uche's explanation Jason asked, "How does the robots know when I'm in a critical condition", looking towards the student's sparring at the side Uche said, I don't know the science of it, but I think it's because of the white uniforms, they help monitor our body condition.

Looking towards the black doors Jason asked "what are behind the doors" seeing Jason giving him a look of curiosity Uche said with a smile "behind the first door is a set of testing equipment used to test our body's potential, but don't worry all that would be explained to you soon," said Uche as he walked forward to one of the training rooms inserting his student Id the door opened with a click as he and Jason walked inside.

Looking around the glass room it looked different on the inside as Jason could feel his body get more active, you could immediately tell that the genetic energy in the glass room's where much denser than the genetic energy outside, picking up a remote on the side of the cushion Uche pressed a button on it making the transparent glass turn white, as he started to undress changing into a white uniform "so when do I get my training room" asked Jason "we are going there now," said Uche as he walked out of his combat room with Jason.

Walking towards a white door at the end of the room Uche said to Jason "we have 5 training rooms like this all with over 100 combat rooms we currently have 362 genetic warriors and 32 spiritual cultivators, this may not seem like much considering that our school has over 20,316 students but bearing in mind the difficulty of becoming a genetic warrior and the number of people who had spiritual affinity the number's added up.

This is training room 3 and we only have 6 combat room's left, looking at Jason Uche said, "this is combat room 395 your combat room, you can go in there and get yourself familiar with the environment, nodding his head Jason inserted his student id into the door as he entered into his room he changed into a white uniforms and walked out.

Sitting with Uche at the side of the hall Jason asked, "Aren't you gonna go train or fight someone" looking at Jason Uche replied, "I'm just keeping you company, do you want to fight, if so then I can spar with you" said Uche.

As they were talking two people walked over from the other end of the room, it was a boy with a big build and a girl with a clear and beautiful face "Camila" Jason looked at the white clothed girl and his mouth subconsciously curled into a mocking smile, the girl in front of him was the one who he had confessed to, back when they were still at the student level training to become awakeners Camila was a huge fan of his.

However, after she heard that he had no spiritual affinity they became distant from one another, that distance increased even more after she became a genetic warrior, and now they were almost like total stranger's, at least she was a stranger to Jason as he had long lost any feeling's he had for her, looking at her he held no resentment over her embarrassing him in school or getting her boyfriend to bully him, strangely he felt nothing at all.

Walking over to Jason, Camila said with a smile, brother Jason, you have finally broken through to become a genetic warrior who knew that you would have a bloodline, however I'm going to give you some advice as I've been an awakener longer than you, do not be stubborn, after entering the flowing metal clan, I have realized that the place we started is too low compared to some people here.

"What do you want to say?" Jason broke off her sentence and responded with a cold face his mocking smile long gone, feeling a bid startled and angry at Jason sudden change of attitude she bit her teeth and said, brother Jason I'm going to advice you one more time, go to brother Millan and pledge yourself to him and the flowing metal clan, only with their help would you be given enough resources to reach the E level, or do you think you can get into the military academy.

The military academy was a myth among common people, but after looking it up on the awakened database Jason knew it was very real, the military academy was a place all ambitious awakeners wished to go to, as it had state of the art teaching equipment all the manuals and resources you could think of where there, you would also meet some once in a lifetime talent's and have adventures all over the world, but that wasn't the most attractive part of it, the most attractive part was that you would get a chance to meet people in the top ten and if you were lucky they would even take you in as their disciples you only had one chance to enter the military academy if you were still in high school and at the final exams.

Looking at Camila Jason let out a deep chuckle his aura turning hostile, seeing Jason's expression, Camila immediately knew his answer, they grew up together, living not far away from each other she knew Jason quite well, but after Joining the flowing metal clan, she and her family had long left that area to stay in a better house as the clan provided everything for her family. Land in the seventh city was expensive as they were a lot of people you had to work hard to be able to have a roof over your head even the house Jason's family was currently staying in was on rent.

Camila walked back to the boy with a big build who was obliviously Millan as she whispered something at his side, "Humph! He doesn't know what's good for him, this useless garbage" Millan said in a cold voice.

Walking up to Jason Millan felt unsatisfied, as he got an order from his family to get Jason to join them, it was against the rules of the alliance to make a student join any organization, but it was a different story if the student's joined the said organization themselves and out of their own free will.

The only condition was that the student should have no contact with the said organization that, means the power's in question would have to rely on their reputation to rope in student's or they could find a loophole, after all the alliance couldn't blame Millan for talking to Jason as they were students of the same school. After that it would be much easier as all the organization had to do was to get permission from their parent's which the easiest part was.

But the students were not allowed to sign any form of contract meaning the alliance could rope them back in, it sounded unfair but that was how it was, if any awakener is discovered to be a talent he or she would be taken away by the alliance.

The reason most people want to become awakener's in the first place was because of money and resources some for the adventure and trill of living on the edge some Joined for pleasure or fun, whatever your wish was, it could all be granted by the alliance so 99% of the time talented student's would always go to the military academy leaving the smaller power's with the less talented awakener's.

Looking at Millan standing in front of him Jason said "do you need anything?" hearing Jason's question Millan felt even more angry, after he discovered that Jason was an awakener he called his father to help him deal with it, as Jason was an awakener he would be much harder to deal with.

But he was giving a shock when they discovered that Jason was at F level 5, he just awakened recently so it was impossible to train to that level, which means he had a dragon level bloodline and so instead of dealing with him Millan was asked to rope him in.

Looking at Jason Millan said with a loud voice Jason, "F level 5, I didn't know you have bloodline, you're surprisingly useful," why don't you join my flowing metal clan, his word's made some of the student's training at the side halt to take a look at Jason, looking at Millan who had a face full of arrogance and pride Uche thought it was time to stop playing nice as he had been quiet all this time, with a sneer he said "your flowing metal clan, your just hiding behind the name of a big family. You don't respect the people around you because you are part of a big clan.

Looking at Millan Uche said, "Why don't you have a spar with me use your fist to speak," seeing the two of them get on each other's necks Jason decided to step in, "I'm not joining your clan so don't bother, Uche let's go have a spar.
