This was because they could now control multiple objects at maximum speeds of up to 274.4 meters per second with insane acceleration, they could control multiple sharp weapons that if you were hit by would cause nasty injuries or even death, Just imagine fighting bees moving at high speed from all directions.

Suddenly the dark haired man struck first as with a wave of his hands, 3 of the throwing knives in his surroundings immediately listened to his command as they pierced forward at astonishing speeds of about 343 meters per second with insane acceleration simply put the objects he was controlling was moving at the speed of sound, whoosh! Whoosh! Was the only sound the student's where able to hear, they couldn't even see the throwing knives clearly, even Jason himself with his bloodline ability could not see it as the problem was coming from the device used to record it.
Looking at the 3 knives coming at him in a straight line the blue haired man didn't waste a second to react as the knives rotating around him also moved precisely hitting the incoming blades knocking them back as visible sparks lit up the surroundings, and I mean this literally if the blue haired man had reacted a little later, he would have been impaled.
Seeing that his first 3 knives where blocked the black haired man wasted no time as he released his control over the three throwing knives, as the rebound from the collision against the opponents weapon was too strong and he would have to use a small amount of energy to stabilizes them and stop them from bouncing away but he didn't have that much time to waste as speed was crucial in any fight.
But his opponent didn't have the same level of reasoning as him, as he seemed to value the quantity of his projectiles rather than his reaction speed, the black haired man seeing his opponent was open trying to retrieve his weapons which were scattered by the force of the two weapons collision immediately attacked with full force.
The remaining two knives which were previously suspended in midair shot forward aiming for his opponents head, it was obvious that the blue haired man had far less battle experience than the black haired man. Looking at the both of them Jason immediately knew that the blue haired man was going to die, but seeing that two knives were moving at him at the speed of sound the blue haired man was shocked as he tried to react as fast as possible, giving up on his control over the three throwing knives he immediately tried to defend with the last two he still had control of but it was too late, the knife had already stopped at the front of his head.
Your dead was the first word that was said as the black haired man took back his weapons, his look of malice long gone, looking at the black haired man the blue haired man said, "but I tried my best this time," saying that the video came to an end.

Looking towards the direction Jason drove off to Uche recovered from his shock as he muttered to himself with a smile, "you have been full of surprises today, you just became an awakener and you already have the strength to match me, but I won't slack of either, now that we are both genetic warriors we can both fight fairly," squeezing his fist Uche muttered "I'll surpass you.
The other students in the background also saw Jason as they watched him drive away with wide eyes, how Jason got his hands on a 5th edition super bike was unknown.
The 7th city or any of the city's belonging to the alliance had a high crime rate, not what you would expect but that was the reality, it was indeed true that the technology used to fight crime had improved drastically but that was also true for bad people, nothing was always as it seemed the world was a complicated place, not just to be painted in black and white and that was true even for the criminals who tried to rob Jason.
Parking in front of a grocery shop Jason was about to walk in to get some treat's for Anna but was distracted, he felt a mild killing intent, but strangely it wasn't directed towards him, looking around Jason couldn't find the source of the killing intent but what he did find was the person it was directed at.
