"Good afternoon all!"
Kinara stopped walking after walking into the dining room. Just, as usual, she looked so elegant. Her face was so bright and of course very beautiful. Curly eyelashes, a perfect sharp nose, and sensual lips that are always seductive. However, her plenary beauty could not make Abimana feel at home. The crazy thing is, that the husband of Kinara Dewi Pradipta even had an affair.
Kinara's unheard arrival made Bram and Meysa surprised, as well as overjoyed, because their daughter rarely comes by the house. Meysa was even flabbergasted. What is the purpose of Kinara coming without being invited? Has Kinara made plans to have lunch with Abimana at this house? At least that's the question that immediately crossed the minds of Meysa and maybe also Bram, as well as Angga.
However, a somewhat displeased feeling overcame Abimana. He didn't expect his wife to arrive just as he was about to do his first action. What if Kinara wanted to tell the truth about what happened? What if Kinara would make Abimana's plan crumble and fall apart?
"How could Kinara, who was so devoted will give hurt to her parents? When forced to marry me for a business marriage only, she agreed. This has proven how much devotion Kinara has for her father and mother," thought Abimana. He was still trying to calm himself and his heart. He did not hesitate to smile to dispel the discomfort that came after Kinara came.
"Come on, hurry! While we still have plenty of food. You didn't come just to silent, did you?" Meysa got up. The next second, he led Kinara to one of the empty chairs.
Angga swiftly pulled the empty chair not far from him. "Please have a seat, Sis," he said to Kinara.
"Thanks to Mom, and Angga." Kinara smiled. Not long after she then tucked herself between the chair and table. "Sorry for coming without telling you first."
"Hey!" said Bram. "You think I will be angry if you suddenly come back to my house? I am your Dad, Kinara!"
"I don't think so, Dad," replied Kinara, then she smiled. "But, I still feel guilty for my unannounced arrival this time, because—"
"Honey, you have to eat well," interrupted Abimana. He immediately poured the rice into the empty plate he had reached. "You like Mom and Arum's cooking, don't you? It's very delicious." Abimana will not let Kinara open a conversation that will endanger him. So being sweet and romantic like the attitude he often shows to Bianca, might be the most appropriate way to stop Kinara's plan.
To be honest, Kinara was a bit flabbergasted. Her eyes focused on Abimana who was pretentiously sweet in front of her. Kinara's intelligent brain immediately compiled an analysis. Abimana is not possible to be sweet so quickly for her, especially after being caught having an affair with another woman. It seems that Kinara's initial assumption is the truth, namely that Abimana is indeed planning to cancel the divorce suit filed by her in a way stealing the hearts of Bram and Meysa.
"Thank you, Dear," replied Kinara as she accepted a plate containing a serving of lunch that had been served by her husband. A fake smile concise on her lips and her eyes focused on Abimana. "Why did you come to my parents' house, without telling me first?" Kinara asked intending to be sarcastic.
"What? So you two not talking to each other when want to go to Dad's house?" Bram asking.
Abimana swallowed saliva. "That ... we're both busy, Dad. I came because I haven't visited in a long time, and today is my day off after almost a week in Bali," he explained.
"Yes, I didn't even know if Abimana had returned from Bali, Dad." Kinara looked back at Abimana after previously her eyes were fixed on her father. She smiles cynically for her bad husband. "On holiday? Ah, why didn't you talk to me about the holidays, Honey? I didn't even hear your breath in our house. Too bad."
"You guys are already married, but how come—" The surprised Bram was about to ask a new question, but Meysa held him back by pinching his arm.
"Let's eat! Doesn't Kinara have to go back to the office soon? Time is running out, you know." Meysa felt that something was wrong. From the start, her feeling said that. To intervene in the tension between a daughter and son-in-law doesn't seem like a good thing. When she only asked for her a future grandson or granddaughter, Abimana's face immediately soured. As a mother-in-law, she should be wise.
Even in this time though she decided to keep quiet, Meysa felt still that she had to keep looking for what was wrong between Kinara and Abimana. Their marriage must be saved, even from a very small problem. Don't big problems come from small problems? It's good, they have to deal with the slightest problem at an early stage.
Thanks to Meysa the lunch continued, even ending without any conversation. Angga left without eating dessert. Meysa and Bram also got up and planned to go to the lounge, they had asked Kinara and Abimana to come along. Even though Kinara's time off is getting less and less, Bram still wants to hear reports about the company and the planned merger.
"Don't take too long, immediately meet Dad in the lounge, Dad wants to hear about your two merger plans," said Bram before actually exiting the dining room doorway. He even turned to Kinara and Abimana who were still sitting in the room.
"Okay, Dad," said Kinara and Abimana at the same time.
"I will stand up soon," continued Kinara. "There's something I also want to tell Dad."
"Good decision, Kinara!" said Bram then smiled broadly. The next second, he rushed to continue his plan to exit that dining room door away.
After her father and mother left, Kinara gradually sighed. She looked at her plate which still had a few spoonfuls of rice left. Unfortunately, Abimana provides more food than the portion that Kinara usually eats. The man failed at being a husband. A selfish man who can't understand every habit of his wife.
"Shit ..." Kinara whispered barely audible. She had been holding herself too long not to say that curse. Abimana's face, ... no, but the mere exhalation of Abimana's breath made her very sick. Crazy, she had called the man 'darling'.
Abimana gritted his teeth. Not happy with Kinara's low voice that he can still hear. His seat was not far from the woman's whereabouts. More precisely, they were facing each other. If Angga hadn't pulled up the empty chair on that side, Abimana might have made Kinara sit beside him.
"Hey!" Abimana automatically got up when he saw Kinara about to take steps to get out of the dining room. "Kinara!" Quickly, he grabbed Kinara's arm when Kinara didn't respond to his call.
Kinara sighed furiously. She gritted her teeth. And the most felt is disgust. The touch of Abimana's hand was disgusting.
"Get rid of your hands, Abimana!" said Kinara, still trying to be elegant. There was no harshness in her voice. The anger that she shows still looks elegant and full of charisma. "You should at least know yourself before you dare touch someone you've betrayed." Next, Kinara turned around. She looked at Abimana with firm and sharp eyes.
"Why? We're still husband and wife, it's not illegal if we touch each other, right?" replied Abimana. "What do you want to tell your father? Are you planning to tell him about our situation? About the divorce suit, you filed with me?"
"Shhh ...!" Kinara put her index finger on the surface of her sharp nose. Then she gave a cynical smile. "Why are you panicking? Take it easy, Abi. Relax, don't be nervous. I haven't even said anything yet. If you want to know, shouldn't we meet with Dad first?"
"Kinara! If you're planning to tell Dad and Mom about our situation, don't you feel sorry for them? Do you want to hurt your father and mother?! I can't even bear to do that!" Abimana said. "Come on, Kinara! We'll fix things. I can leave that woman ... for you, for our marriage."
"Abimana, stop talking and face my father if you want to know what I'm going to say to him. Because, your words make me nauseous, Honey."
Kinara smiled until her eyes narrowed. The next second, she tried to remove Abimana's hand from her arm even though she had to use extra strength. Luckily, Kinara was able to escape from the man, which allowed her to rush to catch up with her father and mother.
"Kinara ... I won't let you mess things up!" said Abimana while clenching his two fingers with all his might. "You are a crazy woman ...!"
