Chapter 12 - I'm Fine, Mom

There is no other choice but to work. Work is the best thing to get rid of all the fatigue that occurs in the brain and self. Not only that, working will make Kinara look fine. Although her brain and heart sometimes complain of pain and even where the focus is difficult to get. However, no one will think that she is hurt. Although, the hurt is getting bigger and bigger by the day. Though the first divorce trial will be held soon. Kinara thought that after the divorce, her soul would be freer and she could take revenge without limits. However, the divorce that has not happened precisely has made Kinara even more miserable.

Is this what unrequited love feels like? Despite having an affair, did Abimana not have the same amount of pain as Kinara? Did Abimana's struggles in front of Bram just for it sake of a merger between the two companies?

Ah, Kinara wasn't sure that Abimana was willing to kneel just for her sake. Before Abimana decided to leave yesterday, Kinara saw anger flashing in the man's eyes. There was no sign of remorse, no further pleas. Abimana disappeared after Kresna opened all the evidence that had been obtained. It was Bram who suddenly became silent. Bram regretted, and felt guilty for his daughter.

It was as if the suffering was only felt by Kinara and her family, while Abimana was only a play and then immediately became happy.

If they are divorced, maybe Abimana's attitude is not Kinara's business anymore. However, based on humanity, conscience, and a husband's instinct, wouldn't it be inappropriate for Abimana to act as if nothing had happened? Or, this assumption is only limited to Kinara's imagination, while Abimana might also be injured? Who knows. However, no adultery can be justified. Once forgiven, Abimana can do it again more securely and secretly. Some people say cheating is a disease that is difficult to cure unless it is hit by the of being paralyzed and dying!

"Tsk!" Kinara clicked her tongue. Exhausted, she leaned back and began to lean back. Her eyes closed and she took several deep breaths. No matter how focused and no matter how hard Kinara is in doing her work, the issue of divorce and Abimana's betrayal cannot disappear from her mind. Especially when the mistress's face was even more imprinted in Kinara's mind as if the mistress's face must be remembered by Kinara forever.

Kinara had to open her eyes when a knock sounded on the door. Isabela's voice entered her ears after that.

"During the afternoon, Mrs. Kinara," said Isabela who was still in the doorway of the room. "Your mother wishes to see you."

"Mom?" mumbled Kinara. Then, she quickly looked at Isabela and nodded her head. "I can meet my mom, Isabel. By the way, serve us some hot tea."

"Very well, Mrs. Kinara. I will ask your mom to come in and then I will serve tea."

"Thank you, Isabela."

Isabela smiled as she nodded her head. She quickly walked to the exit, then hurried to open the door. And seconds after that, Meysa appeared. Meysa always takes care of her daughter's work and privacy. Even though she was the wife of the actual owner of the company, she was never sassy. If she wanted to visit, she would inform Kinara and ask permission first. However, because the princess didn't pick up the phone today, Meysa was forced to come and ask Isabela to announce her arrival to Kinara.

"Welcome, Mom," said Kinara shortly after getting up from her seat and heading to the living area. She asked her mother to sit down, followed by herself. The polite attitude towards parents has never disappeared from Kinara. She was too polite as a child. However, her behavior to some people does tend to be like chunks of ice from the North Pole. She knows. She just doesn't feel like getting involved in a lot of conversation, unless there's an interest.

"Are you all right, Kinara?" asked Meysa.

Kinara smiled. A happy expression then she put on her face. She tried not to show the slightest hint of sadness. She had to be calm and stay strong.

After nodding her head, Kinara replied, "Of course, Mom. However, even if it's fine, Kinara must still apologize for not being able to maintain the household ark that I built for one year with Abimana, Mom. Not to mention the possibility that our divorce will cause a stir and the company could be affected."

"Why are you the one apologizing?" Meysa shook her head slowly. Her face looked numb. After all, which mother would be happy after hearing the bad news that befell her daughter? "Unfortunately, Mom wasn't in that room yesterday. I was busy taking care of some plants with Aunt and instead ignored you. If only Mom was there, I would surely make Abimana a deterrent!"

"Hahaha." Kinara laughed, but still elegant. "You shouldn't be rude, Mom. The best way of revenge isn't violence, is it?"

"You ...? You want revenge?"

Kinara sighed. "Possible …."

"If you want revenge, means you are not well, right?" Meysa guessed. "You can cry, Kinara. Here in Mon's arms. You always make your husband proud in front of Mom and Dad, there's no way you won't get hurt after your husband turned out to be a betrayer."

Kinara did something wrong. Lately, she is far from being cautious. Maybe several times, she made a mistake. Neither in work nor in taking words. She's talking about revenge on her mom and forgetting her mom's intelligence. Not to mention the hunch of a mother that is stronger than her marriage ties.

"You can't argue, Kinara. I know you better than anyone, without reducing my guilt for supporting your wedding one year ago. If at that time, Mom forbade your Dad to unite you and Abimana, maybe you wouldn't be hurting. As imperfect parents, Mom and Dad apologize to you, son," said Meysa. She then approached Kinara, then gave her daughter a warm hug. "Cry, I won't laugh at you."

"There is no pain in my heart, Mother," said Kinara. "However, there is anger that may be difficult for me to control."

"And I don't know what I'm going to do after the divorce happens. Perhaps an act of revenge that is not to be taken lightly. I was determined to destroy Abimana," Kinara continued in his heart.

Kinara is eager to share a story. Too bad, she still can not.

No one could be more hurt than Kinara. And then, her revenge will be even more deadly when she has an increasingly crazed pain.

Isabela who had been standing behind the door finally entered Kinara's workroom. She had decided to serve tea after feeling Kinara and Meysa had not finally discussed something confidential again.

"Thanks for the tea, Isabela," said Kinara and Meysa at the same time.

"You're welcome, Mrs. CEO and Mrs. Old," Isabela replied. Now, her duty to serve the drink has been accomplished. She must back to her other work.
