Chirp! Chirp!
With the sun's gentle rays filtering into the cave, Di Tian stirred from his slumber.
HISSS!
A soft hiss reached his ears, not unsettling him as he was accustomed to it. He turned towards the source of the sound and greeted, "Good morning, Su'er." The little white snake, Bai Suzhen, nestled against him in response.
The cave they occupied was one Di Tian had adorned earlier, a place where they'd found refuge together. Its location was serene, featuring a water source and even a glimpse of sunlight. Though he had considered moving to the larger cave of the Giant Earth Bear, he decided against it due to its gloomy darkness, favoring their current, cozy abode that still accommodated them both.
More than a week had passed since Di Tian and Bai Suzhen had begun sharing this space. During this time, Di Tian's level had surged by four notches. Three levels had been earned by vanquishing the Giant Earth Bear, and the fourth came as a reward for successfully completing the quest to rescue Bai Suzhen.
By combining the experience points acquired from overcoming the Giant Earth Bear and those obtained from the quest, he barely had enough to propel himself up another level.

[☣World Status: Unawaken, estimated remaining time 1week]
Di Tian hadn't yet opened the GOLD Treasure Chest he gained from completing the S rank quest. Over the past week, he'd filled his time playing with Bai Suzhen, catching up on sleep to level up, and occasionally setting out with Bai Suzhen to hunt together.
During this time, his body had undergone significant growth. Where once he measured 5 meters, he now spanned an impressive 15.7 meters. His increased size granted him formidable power—he could easily constrict and overpower an elephant. Notably, his stats had skyrocketed, surpassing even those of the previous Giant Earth Bear.
In addition, he'd recently made a couple of purchases from the system shop. One skill he acquired enhanced his movement and flight speed temporarily, while the other empowered his offensive capabilities.

Di Tian's newly acquired skills had elevated his combat power even further, filling him with a sense of contentment over his increased strength. However, an urgent concern remained.
[☣World Status: Unawaken, estimated remaining time 1 week]
Only seven days remained until the dormant spiritual energy within the planet would awaken. Di Tian realized that this impending awakening would disrupt his tranquil life, plunging him into the chaotic world.
If he wished to survive this upcoming turmoil, he understood the necessity of becoming even more powerful. While he might possess enough strength presently, he acknowledged that the future held uncertainty. Creatures like the Giant Earth Bear, who could cultivate within the HEAVENLY PIT, were a variable. If one such creature could gain an early advantage, others could too. Additionally, he couldn't disregard the human race, which had long held dominance, particularly on land.
Despite unknown creatures potentially cultivating in the shadows, they didn't constitute the dominant force. Even with the spiritual awakening, Di Tian doubted other races could easily overthrow humanity's hold on the earth. Humans had persisted for thousands of years, outlasting many other races.
Being a former human himself, Di Tian appreciated the need to not underestimate them. If he lacked the strength to counter the most potent weapons wielded by humanity, he had to be cautious. He recalled humanity in his previous world having developed weapons of mass destruction long ago, like nuclear and hydrogen bombs.
Di Tian preferred not to test whether similar weapons existed in this world. These arms could inflict vast destruction, potentially altering the very surface of the planet. While humanity generally refrained from using such weapons unless necessary due to their perilous environmental consequences, their existence remained a concern.
