The encounter with the Komodo dragons didn't significantly disrupt their daily routine, but Bai Suzhen seemed visibly happier after settling the score. This became the pattern of their days. Occasionally, Di Tian would venture out to hunt for more creatures, primarily focusing on gaining experience points.
As the realization that there was only a week left before the world's spiritual energy awakened settled in, Di Tian found himself growing increasingly nervous. Though he didn't show it openly, an underlying unease lingered within him.
After all, once the spiritual energy awakened, there was no predicting when powerful creatures might come hunting for their lives. They could unwittingly stumble into clashes between two formidable beings and become mere collateral damage.
With these concerns in mind, Di Tian adopted a ruthless approach whenever he went out. Of course, he spared the harmless and small creatures, as they wouldn't provide much experience anyway. Instead, he focused his efforts on hunting down the dangerous beasts. These encounters posed a little threat to him, while yielding substantial experience points.
This unrelenting hunting created a no-go zone for the dangerous apex beasts around the cave. None dared to approach the area, knowing the risk of being roasted alive by the formidable creature that soared overhead.

His body had grown to a point where it could no longer fit inside the cave that once accommodated him when he was a mere 15 meters long at most. The space had become too confined for his current size.
With the impending spiritual awakening, there wasn't much time left, making it inadvisable to migrate to a new cave at this moment. Helplessly, Di Tian found himself sleeping outside the cave each night.
As the days passed, this became his routine - resting under the stars.
"We'll need to find a better cave after the spiritual awakening," Di Tian pondered to himself. He observed his transformed body; it had become even more formidable. The blades on his arms had grown significantly, resembling deadly weapons, while his majestic mane flowed with an air of power. His horns had increased in size, and his tail had become a dangerous weapon capable of tearing apart numerous trees with a single swipe.

There was something noticeably different about him as well. Just below his throat and a little above his arms, a softly glowing, five-colored scale with intricate patterns caught the eye.
The scale is resplendent, iridescent. Its surface undulates with a mesmerizing dance of colors, shifting between fiery reds, tranquil blues, vibrant greens, earthen browns, and brilliant gold. The scale is encased within an intricately carved gold-metal frame, adorned with flowing patterns that represent the eternal cycle of creation and destruction.
This was the artifact he got from the GOLD Treasure Chest he got after saving Bai Suzhen.
