The entity claimed to be 'Wise One' responded to him.

'Wise One? Is this some sort of alias because if this is a name, then whoever named you needs to attend naming classes' Di Tian felt amused hearing someone saying that the entity talking to him is named wise one, even more so considering that the voice seems to be coming from a female.

Of course, he didn't say this out loud, or else he didn't know what might happen.

For starters he can't see or feel anything, so he was undoubtedly defenseless, and not to mention whoever this entity is… she might know something about his current predicament, so he might need her help.

All these things considered it was better to not offend such a person at such a time.

'As the great scholar once said "It's better to have a friend than have an enemy" yup'

Now that he has someone to communicate with he didn't hesitate to ask his questions.

"You just said I'm in a dense forest, but how did I get here, and why can't I see anything?"

On the other hand, if he chose to become an egg monster, he will have to fight other creatures to level up and hatch, but how could he fight as an (assuming) adorable but harmless egg.

And of he can't level up, he will literally have to live as a walking egg.

Both of the paths were dangerous, if stayed as a normal egg, some animal might eat him at any second, if he chose to courageously walk the path of the 'Walking Egg' he might accidentally step on the den or nest of a predator, then…

Walking Egg + Den/Nest of wild animals = Walking Egg Curry With Legs Out.

Instead of handing his life in the hands of fate and destiny, he would rather become a walking egg and fight for his survival.

He might die but won't be at anyone's mercy, controlling your own fate is always a better option instead of letting someone else control it.

The sun's light doesn't come down here, yet there are strange and mysterious substances on the 'ceiling' that acts as the sun illuminating the gargantuan HEAVENLY PIT, at nighttime the shine of these substances dims so much that they act as a moon.

The climate inside the HEAVENLY PIT also follows the China's climate.

Because humans can't come in here because of the strange terrain coupled with the rich atmosphere of the place, the HEAVENLY PIT became paradise on earth for all the animals that dwell within It, both small and big.

After having a history of hundreds if not thousands of years, the animals in the HEAVENLY PIT come in large quantity and variety.

As the HEAVENLY PIT has quite a few different biomes, there are many different animals that lives in them.

HEAVENLY PIT is a place where you will find many animals, which in normal cases you won't find at one place.

Within a cave near a lake side, a colorful shining egg with exquisite, gilded patterns on it was emitting regal aura of dignity.

The egg itself larger than a grown man's head.

Be it the size or the color, this egg didn't seem to come from any known animals on the planet.

Even the illusory gilded patterns on it capable of mesmerizing one's very soul obviously didn't belong to any known eggs of the discovered creatures on the planet.

ZEN!!!

Suddenly the illusory patterns on the egg began to light up with radiance of gold.

One by one, each of the strange patterns began to glow and at the same time show little but noticeable signs of movement.

As if each of them was alive and had a will of their own, the golden glowing patterns began to slowly detach themselves from the egg.

The detached strange patterns swayed in the air around the egg with blinding golden light, the radiance of the patterns covered the surrounding hundreds of meters scaring many of the animals and birds in the process.

A similar yet distinct energy gathered around each pattern.

In another second the energy of the patterns began to move towards the egg.

The egg was also devouring the energy like a black hole.

As the egg kept devouring the pristine golden energy, the exquisite-looking golden patterns became ever so increasingly ethereal with each passing moment.

Even the corners of the patterns began to fade, no, instead of fade, it would be more accurate to say that they were all absorbed by the egg.

The process continued until all the pristine golden patterns were absorbed by the egg.

Now only a simple yet huge white egg remained in its place, except for its surprisingly large frame, all of its uniqueness disappeared.

CRACK!

Suddenly the egg began to tremble slightly, on the surface of the egg fine cracks began to show themselves.

The cracks expanded until a tail covered in shiny jet-black scales crawled out of the eggshell.

The process didn't seem to have ended as two more parts near the shiny scales-covered tail began to crack.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

CLATTER! CLATTER!

The two parts also broke opened and black scale-covered legs pop out, but instead of having toes they had metallic claws.

'Ahh!' Di Tian grunted internally as he felt somewhat uncomfortable feeling assaulting him.

He could now sense his 'legs' and also something extra.

'It should be a tail, I presume, it's not surprising considering I'm no longer a human' even though he had come to terms with his new identity, it still felt weird to have a tail.

As he thought the tail moved according to his inner thought.

'Pretty convenient, so this is how it feels to have a tail?' he felt like the tail was also a part of his body just like his previous arms and legs.

He tried to spread his senses, unlike before, now he could make an outline of his surroundings.

Of course, it didn't mean he could see, instead, it was like having a large picture of your surroundings in your head.

'Well guess an egg doesn't have any eyes, but it can still have legs and tail' thinking that he has literally became a walking egg with two legs and a tail, he couldn't help but find this picture very comical.
