Chapter 2 - Off To The Pharmacist.

She walked towards the semi-huge trash container at a corner and poured the shards inside.

Then suddenly she felt a cold jolt up her spine.

She looked around alarmed, it seemed someone was watching her, so she dashed back into the house.

In doing so she hit her foot savagely on a stray block of cement.

"Owww!"

Blood gushed out as the rough edges of the cement tore her big toe.

She fell down with a thud on the ground and dragged her foot in front of her to check it.

It was that bad, she squirmed then stood up and half limped to the backyard door.

She walked through the door into the kitchen as their kitchen had two doors.

One between it and the dinner room, another between it and the backyard.

As soon as she entered inside she saw Clay looking at her foot then he looked out the window in front of the sink.

The proof was there, the small heap of dried cement had a little blood on it too.

Clay looked at her again dashed out of the kitchen.

Thgil dashed right behind him as she knew where he was going.

"Clay, wait!!".

"But you're injured and I have to tell granny".

Clay replied as he stopped and looked at her.

"Clay, do not tell grandmother about this".

"But..but that injury's gonna get infested by tetanus and it's gonna rotten and...and..".

"What's going on here? Why are you guys disturbing me, it's 3:00 in the evening".

Izanami or granny Nanị six years into her seventies still looked like a super model and was still as agile as an eighteen years older.

Her skin was as tight and fresh as that of a twenty years old.

Her face still had that dazzling smile with her short blue silver coloured hair.

This granny although crazy and money loving, cared deeply about her grandchildren.

The proof of that could be seen in the memory of a time when Yamen Industrial Multi Entertainment Empire (YIMEE) wanted to sign a contract with her.

She wasn't surprised when it came.

She had only turned in the basic things about her self her name, her age and all (including her picture of course) to sigh up as an artist.

Because Thgil and Clay couldn't stop bugging her about how pretty she looked and should go to sign up with YIMEE.

Literally the only biggest multi billionaire entertainment empire that did everything related to entertainment including fashion.

But their terms of the contract was a little constricting.

She'd have to have bodyguards follow her where ever she went for fear of her being kidnapped

Competition was that stiff.

Also she'd have lesser time in a day to spend with her grandchildren.

As she hadn't even been signed in as an artist, beauty companies were already dragging to sign her in first.

If she was signed in, one can imagine how busy she'd be.

With those constricting terms, granny Nami turned them down without a thought.

She had already had enough of the high life in her twenties and thirties.

She was basically in her retirement age so she would use her remaining time on earth to take care of her grandchildren.

That decision attracted alot of ants (paparazzi) like she was sugar.

They pestered her till one time she almost regretted turning YIMEE down.

But over time it cleared off and they were back to their normal life again.

"Uh, nothing". Thgil said nervously as she hid her injured foot behind her leg.

"Thgil....Oof!!". Clay started saying before Thgil gave him a harmless punch on his stomach.

"What is it, Clay?". Granny asked.

Clay eyed Thgil then spitted out like a machine gun.

"Thgil was running and she hit her foot on a rock and now she's injured really, really bad".

"Owa!! Great".

Thgil exclaimed.

Granny turned to her and asked worriedly.

"Which foot?".

"The right one".

"Let me see". she said squatting down in front of Thgil.

"HmMm".

Thgil grumbled before removing her right from behind her left leg.

Granny raised her foot up a little making Thgil stumble and leaning on the wall near her for support.

Granny examined it then looked up at her with a worried face.

"Does it hurt?"

"No, no, no, it doesn't hurt, why would it hurt when it's bleeding?".

Granny waved off her sarcastic remark and said,

"We've gotta take you to that pharmacy down the street, it's that bad".

"Oh come on don't we have a first aid kit?".

"You mean the one you burnt?".

"No, I meant the one you said you would replace it with".

"Well I haven't replaced it yet, so we will go there".

"Oww".

Thgil groaned.

"I know, suffering sucatash".

Cling! Cling!

The door to the pharmacy clinged against the bell, making the pharmacist, Todoroki hit his head on the shelf above it.

"Ow!!".

He exclaimed as he rubbed the back of his head, he turned around to the door to see Miss Izami.

As he called her, pulling a reluctant little girl into the medicine shop.

Behind her followed a tiny boy with a worried face.

"Ah! Miss Izami, what are you buying today?".

"Your services, my granddaughter's injured heavily".

"Well she doesn't looks like she's that injured?".

He said adjusting his glasses.

Roki as Mr. Todoroki was commonly called during his high school years was the heart ache of every girl then.

With piercings in his ear, eye brow and lips, his smoky brown eyes, ash blonde hair and the body of an athlete.

He was practically irresistible.

He studied medicine and went to work with a hospital but was fired with the false claim.

That he was smuggling expired drugs into the hospital.

Few more fires from various hospitals.

He finally gave in to his wife's idea of opening a medicine shop.

They'd still have to register under the government of course.

But somehow it worked out, most of the money for the shop came from his wife but he was the one whom studied medicine so that settled the rest.

Even now, being nine years into his thirties, married with a two years old daughter.

Some women still made some comical passes at him.

"See! even the doctor thinks I'm not that injured".

"Thgil, go sit down on that sofa".

Granny said pointing to a sofa nearby.

Thgil grumbled and went towards it to sit.

Clay followed and sat besides her.

Dr. Todoroki brought out two chairs and sat on one in front of Thgil leaving the other for Granny.

She raised her foot up to him and he held it in his palms, inspecting it, then took some cotton wool.

Soaked it with some methylated spirit, then dabbed it gently on her foot, cleaning the blood.

Thgil hissed and tried to keep her foot in place so she could this over with.

After cleaning the blood, he cleaned the injury with some iodine tincture.

Then after he sprinkled a little anti bacterial powder on it.

Before he added any first aid dressing on the wound, he explained them to Thgil.

In the simplest way ever though Clay could understand little of it.

So when Dr. Todoroki to get some band-aid, he leaned over to Thgil and asked whispering.

"Did he say he's going to amputate it?".

"Dude! what is wrong with you? It hasn't even been an hour since I wounded myself".

"So, he didn't said he was going to amputate it then".

Thgil looked at him shook her head and looked away.

Thgil watched the pharmacist intently and suddenly at a certain drug and asked with a low voice.

"That drug is a a mixture of ampicillin and cloxacillin right?".

He heard her but she was speaking so low so he said,

"Could you repeat that again, I didn't catch that".

Thgil rolled her eyes and took a deep breath and said this time louder,

"That drug is a mixture of ampicillin and cloxacillin, am I right?".

He faced her with bewildered eyes and answered,

"Yes, it is".

"And it is antibiotic.....right?".

"Right".

He smiled and turned to continue looking for the band aid.

'An eight year old already knows these things....'

He found the band aid and bandaged her foot.

While doing so, he talked about some things with Thgil.

"So how do you know about that drug?".

"I .... found the indications in a pile of trash".

"Hmm, interesting".
