Chapter 30 - A Night of Freedom, Chapter 30.

At the end of the workday, Emeline made a proposal that excited everyone. The day had been productive, and they didn't want to stop there. Emeline suggested going out to drink and dance, having a night just for the three of them, without worries.

"Let's go out, drink, and dance without worries..." Emeline exclaimed.

A spark lit up in Damián's eyes when Emeline announced the invitation for the night.

The invitation was a sign that tonight he could go out without fearing for his life, there were no assassins lurking or imminent threats. It was a moment of true freedom for him. He smiled, feeling an emotion long forgotten: the sensation of being free and safe to spend the night with his friends.

The chosen location was Piano Bar Gnatus. As they arrived there, Aster and Damián found that, despite its small size, Gnatus had a charm reminiscent of the "secret bars" of New Orleans, evoking memories of their past lives. The place was renowned for its quality music, consistently drawing a crowd. The ambiance exuded a retro and intimate vibe, adorned with antique furniture, while the soundtrack featured instrumental songs.

They stepped into the space that combined good music, fine cuisine, and cocktails in an atmosphere that evoked a journey back in time to the 1920s and 1930s.

Immersed in this enchanting atmosphere, the friends ordered their drinks and continued their conversation about the gallery's progress.

In the dynamics of the conversation, they sipped their drinks and started discussing the idea of the premiere. Seated at a vintage wooden table adorned with small arrangements of wildflowers, they enjoyed a cozy and welcoming environment. Each of them held an elegant crystal glass, filled with a special cocktail from Gnatus, known for its creative and sophisticated blends.

Damián challenged Emeline's suggestion, "This isn't a love story, Emeline!"

Emeline replied with a smile, "No, I don't think so... It's not like a love story..."

Damián shared his enthusiastic ideas, "I'm thinking of offering a different filming approach, like a long take, with no cuts, lasting a maximum of four minutes. We can start with a series of intercut scenes, beginning with a romantic painting, to convey emotional significance."

As he spoke, Damián gestured with his hands, as if shaping the space in front of him. He continued, "Then, we can show a scene where someone unlocks a door with a happy smile. But when they turn the doorknob, it comes off in their hand, and the omega enters. Inside this dark and somber space, we display the paintings that will be the highlights of the exhibition."

Emeline expressed her enthusiasm, "I think this idea perfectly captures the paintings and Finley McDermott's ideals. I love it, Damián. I didn't know you had this activist side."

Aster interjected with an agreeing smile, "Great, we can set up the scenery directly in the gallery itself. It will be a unique experience for the visitors."

As the lively conversation continued, they raised their glasses to toast the exciting premiere and the success of the upcoming exhibition.

They shared drinks and engaged in lively conversation throughout the hours.

During a moment of reflection, Aster wondered if he and Damián had been great actors throughout their lives, playing various roles over their existences. However, this new role they were experiencing wasn't necessarily the best.

But the simple freedom to go out and have fun without the worry of getting shot - or searching for a target was undoubtedly enjoyable. He questioned whether this thought represented a new emerging consciousness or just another character they were creating.

As they left Piano Bar Gnatus, slightly intoxicated and with uncoordinated movements, they walked with a strong sense of joyful and rebellious youth, believing that the world was perfect and that everyone was happy. It was a spontaneous response to the environment and life at that moment.

After leaving the bar, Damián felt he had overindulged in alcohol, cursed his weak body for not handling it well. He had a hallucinatory sensation when he saw Adam standing in front of a sports supercar. An inexplicable feeling took hold of him, and the look he received from Adam... oh!

God, he felt naked with shame for a brief moment. However, it quickly passed because... he had no shame. Damián had always been fearless, considering shame not only inevitable. Though also a survival mechanism for humans. His whole life was lived in "live or die" mode.

He hugged Adam warmly. Like a moth drawn to a flame, he was dangerously flirting with stranger emotions.

Adam's face lit up with a shark-like grin.

In the reports Adam had received, the omega was always described as discreet and well-behaved, with a docile personality. However, in front of Damian, who was almost drunk at that moment - he seemed to be facing a completely different being.

Damián had a fierce and defiant gaze, not resembling the person described in the reports. While various reports had been conducted - Adam observed the arrival and stay of the omega at Piano Bar Gnatus through photos and videos, with conflicting thoughts, as his omega was not obedient and clingy like other omegas.

Damian walked toward Adam with feigned steps, confusing him about the direction he was moving in. His gestures were slow, and his demeanor was silent, but suddenly he swiftly closed the distance between them.

To Adam, he was deliciously tempting, his eyes shining brightly. His hair was tousled, reflecting the untidy hairstyle typical of a lively night.

The cold midnight wind blew through Damian's tangled hair, which felt soft and carried a faint scent of Agarwood. It acted as an aphrodisiac and, at the same time, made Adam the drummer of his heart.

Adam was casually dressed, yet his appearance was worthy of a superhero. His perfectly groomed black hair, piercing blue eyes, and face with the perfection of ancient Greeks made him stand out in any crowd. He exuded undeniable confidence.

Adam was dressed in a carefully selected elegant casual outfit that perfectly matched the luxurious sports car parked next to him. He wore a white cotton shirt that accentuated his fair skin and highlighted his well-defined muscles. The shirt was paired with a dark brown leather jacket, adding a touch of joy and masculinity to his look.

On the lower half, he wore perfectly fitted dark jeans that hugged his athletic physique. His brown leather shoes, with a subtle shine, completed the ensemble, exuding an air of understated elegance.

Damián couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy as he compared his own features to Adam's. He was surpassing his former self, Josh Smith, in every aspect, leaving him impressed with his striking presence and impeccable style.

"You look incredibly handsome today, Adam!" Damián said with a smile.

Adam returned the smile and teased, "Really? And you seem especially happy today." His pleasant and sensual laughter echoed through the air.

"You know, baby. You challenge me," Adam extended his hand, lightly nibbled on Damián's earlobe, and whispered in a husky voice, "I missed you."

Damián playfully retorted, "Don't call me baby!" in a sweet yet teasingly grumpy tone.

"Baby, baby, baby!" Adam insisted, teasing Damián.

Adam then smiled and leaned forward, gently kissing Damián. But Damián didn't want gentleness at that moment, so he pulled Adam closer to him.

Adam wrapped his hands around Damián's waist, holding him firmly. As Adam pressed against Damián, Damián felt his legs wrap around Adam.

It was like a romantic scene from a movie, filled with passion and desire.

Emeline was shocked and on high alert as she saw the alpha in front of her. Watching this romantic and sensual moment, she knew that this scene could have a terrible outcome.

Involuntarily, Emeline covered Aster's eyes with her hands, preventing him from seeing what was happening below. She vividly remembered the day when the friends showed up at her house, and she didn't want him to witness a similar situation.

Aster smiled, and with Emeline's hands covering his eyes, they both remained with their eyes closed.

When they finally turned away from what was supposed to be a romantic scene, they realized they were being observed by many people, a completely unexpected situation.

Several individuals seemed to be emerging from Piano Bar Gnatus, and it was evident to everyone. The last thing Aster wanted was to draw attention to themselves, but unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.

They were quickly approached by discreet security personnel, who escorted them to a waiting private car.

Emeline looked at Damián with concern but didn't dare ask Aster anything, as they were accompanied in the car and given the recent events.

As the car moved, Emeline silently pondered: What could he be thinking?

Aster seemed to awaken from a trance and glanced at her once again.

"I just..." he sighed, unsure how to express his thoughts.

"I don't know," he turned to look out the window, noticing that Damián was already some distance away.

Emeline nodded, understanding. She knew the past few days had been challenging for both of them.

First, the discovery of the involuntary marking, and now this. She knew Damián was still grappling with conflicting feelings, even if he never openly expressed them.

As Adam's sports supercar sped past them, capturing everyone's attention, Aster thought to himself, "A playboy will always be a playboy, no matter where they are."

Damián observed Adam driving and couldn't resist teasing him, "Does your car have an engine, or... why are you driving so slowly?" he said with a mischievous smile on his lips.

Adam looked at Damián with a challenging expression and, without saying a word, accelerated the car, taking off at a breathtaking speed through the city streets.

As the car continued to accelerate, they defied the limits of safety and convention. It was a dangerous dance with danger, a daring act that made them feel alive.

Damián glanced at Adam beside him and saw the same intensity in his blue eyes. At that moment, they shared a rebellious spirit, a connection beyond words.

Damián, a product of his own experiences, felt a distortion of his perceptions. Vibrant sensations were coursing through his body. Perhaps pheromones and alcohol were a disastrous combination.

Adam took them directly to his exclusive suite at Hotel Kadman. Once inside, an urgency took hold of Adam's voice, and he spoke quickly.

"Do you want me, Damián?"

Damián averted his gaze, envisioning the scene. His breath quickened, already filled with excitement. "Yes!"

"I'm going to love you until you can't move without remembering that I've been inside you. Is that what you want?"

Damián averted his gaze, his imagination filled with the proposed scene. His breath became ragged, and excitement pulsed through his body. With determination, he replied:

"Yes! I want to be loved by you to the point where I can't move without remembering that you've been inside me. That's exactly what I want."
