Walking towards the intersection, where I was supposed to meet with my family, I couldn't help but wonder how it was that we could both breath and move so easily this far underwater.
Wasn't water supposed to stop you from breathing?
Looking up, the god rays from the sun above the surface, came filtering down, lighting the wide sand road that in between two large rock cliffs, every now and then a fish would swim by, heading to.....where ever it is that fish go.
Looking at my watch, i found that I still had plenty of time to arrive, and with how close I was, I may as well take my time.
The plan for the day, was to meet up with my family, my father, mother, elder brother, and two younger sisters, and head..... somewhere..... for some reason I can't exactly remember....
Well it doesn't matter, I like to be surprised anyway.
And with that, I arrived at the intersection, a small crossroads would be a more accurate description.
The place was empty, though that,s not very surprising, I'm always early, I think.....
With nothing to do as I waited for the others to show up, I couldn't help wondering why I had come early in the first place, I also kept finding my eyes drifting over to the left most road, it went into another cavern, like the one I just got out of, except it was darker, and I always remember being told to never go there, into what was dubbed The Dark Cavern.
I could never figure out why exactly, and the only reason I even listened is because I always get an eerie feeling that gets worse the closer I get to it, s such, I never disobeyed, though today, not only was I bored, but I was feeling upset...though I couldn't remember why.
As such, I slowly headed over to it, getting closer, and closer...
*Bam!*
I hear a door slam, startling me, I quickly turn around and find that the rest of my family just arrived.
After a quick discussion we decided to go to a near by park to have lunch, before we....
Before we could leave, a woman came into the open, coming out of...the dark cavern, I remember her.....just can't quite place where from.
Unsurprisingly, my family freaked out and started arguing with her, I was not really paying much attention but, it seemed like she wanted us to go up, and seeing her point up, I could felt a odd feeling around me...something, no idea what, was off, didn't feel right.
I floated closer to the woman to hear what they were arguing about, and as the woman came into view that feeling that I recognized her, still couldn't quite place her. She had just longer than shoulder length ink black hair, with glazzy black and gray eyes, wearing a black gown of sorts.
Apparently the woman and my parents had been arguing about me, I still couldn't quite make out what they were saying.
As I got to them, the woman looked up into my eyes, and felt that she was trying to get me to go up, my parents were getting angrier as she tried to convince to go up, break through the surface.
I wanted to tell them to stop fighting, that we should just go back home, I started heading home, but they just kept on with their yelling, while the woman stayed calm and kept telling them that I needed to break through the surface, and while I could not blame my parents for trying to keep me safe, as everyone knew that going and past the surface would kill you, it was just getting more and more annoying, the sounds were getting fuzzy and melding together.
I had, had enough, I ignored them and did what the woman said to do and started going up.
I finally knew why my surroundings felt off, we where in water, Why though? everyone know ^@&%@#& @$^%@ so of course I need to get to the top.
I could finally look up, light was shining through the surface of the water, hitting my skin with a subtle warmth, as I got closer and closer I started to feel more confident that I needed to do this.
As the surface got closer and closer, so to did my anticipation rise, reaching up I prepared for the hard part.
Breaking through.
I reached my hand out, about to slow as it hit the barrier when to my surprise, my hand went straight through!
It was easier to breakthrough than to move in the water, my hand felt so free, like a weight had been lifted, excited, I thrust my body through the surface, expecting to fall back down and have to swim to land.
Suddenly just as my body was about to breakthrough the surface, black clouds filled the sky, and lightning struck with a *BOOM!* Everything Went Black.
