I wanted to leave, call Dante first so I don't contaminate anything. But then it occurred to me that I don't have to do any of that because there are no fingerprint scanners any more. Shit, we'd be lucky if we even had an x-ray machine. Walked further into the apartment.
My nose twitched. Two scents filled the air. I know both. One is Ginny, the other is Petronka. She was definitely here. But what the fuck was she doing? The thickest part that holds her wretched smell is the claw.
I press one of my fingers into the gash. It's hot. Definitely a zeta. There are more than twenty zetas in this pack. But none of them would hurt Ginny. They're all tamed, and fearful of going against their precious alpha.
I can't believe I'm thankful for that. It helps me narrow out the people.
