~Noelle~
People are talking. I know this, but I can't hear anything on the count of a heavy pounding in my skull. What the hell happened to me? I bat my lashes as they part, everything is so blurry.
The last thing I recall…. Ah, my head hurts to much think. Did I drink? I don't think I've ever experienced a hangover. I don't think I had anything to drink last night.
Is it even night?
When the blur clears, I can see the ceiling of a room without windows. There's no fresh air on my skin, but there is a wave of discomfort in my side.
The only light in the room seems to be swinging right above me. Like it's dangling on its last life.
I pushed past the thumping in my brain, and sat up. The room begun to spin, and I grunted as my ribs ached. Seriously, I'm getting worried. What the fuck happened?
"She's awake." Is the first thing my ears pick on. Everything else is blocked out by the ringing. The tone of that voice reminds me of someone.
