The new staff had already been introduced to their colleagues and were now settled in their offices.
Diamond dealt with the cafeteria staff next and received the menu for the whole week. The menu would determine what should be bought, and that was the list that she wanted.
Diamond had the cooks get money from the finance department to buy all the staples that were needed. They didn't need to worry about vegetables and chicken mostly as they could talk to Cindy and Agatha about it.
After sorting out the cafeteria business, she went to check on the building and was glad that they were almost done.
Cindy signed the first deal with the foundation on that day regarding the supply of vegetables and chicken. They were all doing business, so everything needed to be done professionally.
By Tuesday, the building was done, all freezers were installed, and Diamond paid the remaining balance and had Cindy and Agatha's things moved from the foundation to their own building.
The second floor was going to be used for office use and the floor has a total of three offices, a conference room, a kitchen, and a toilet.
Each office could accommodate four people, with the third office being the smallest and accepting just one person.
The girls all settled in one office, leaving so much room for others.
At the same time, the HR department had been pretty busy with the hiring issue, as more people were still needed.
The DIAMOND FARM page also issued a recruitment notice and was looking for a driver and two salespeople.
The gender was biased towards ladies for the sales agents. Women knew more about food, at least compared to men.
The security for the buildings was acceptable and with Andrea keeping tags on all her assets, she would know anything as soon as something happened, so her worry meter wasn't fluctuating that much.
The cafeteria opened on Thursday and it started by serving breakfast. The Diamond Farm had delivered what they promised, and the chickens were safely stored in the kitchen deep freezers.
The basement freezers were currently being used by Diamond Farm and whatever was in there didn't belong to the foundation.
In the future, Diamond Farm would pay rent to the foundation for storage.
The class reunion was on a Saturday, and Diamond was planning on traveling to Srad on Friday. She could have gone early, but she needed to visit the school and see the finished building.
They would be putting windows and doors next, so before that, she wanted to check it.
This was exactly what she did the next day. She went to the school with some staff members and faithfully recorded the scene.
"When you return next time, you will find the building ready for use. As you can see, we are left with ......….."
Diamond listened attentively as the supervisor explained in detail what they were doing and how progressed they were so far.
After checking with the man, she then went to check on the kids and had a great time with them.
Her flight was at four, so Diamond had to leave the school early, leaving a lot of unwilling students who enjoyed playing with Diamond and her people.
She went home straight and took a shower, changed into something comfortable, before leaving.
Ruby was the one sending her off. And as Ruby drove her to the airport, Diamond couldn't help but look at the clear sky and sighed worriedly.
"What's wrong, big sis?" Ruby asked, seeing how her sister was sighing.
"I am just wondering if the rain will really fall this year!" Diamond responded worriedly.
Ruby couldn't believe that her sister was this worried about the rain, but then she remembered that her sister owned a farm and couldn't help but get worried as well.
"We just have to wait and see. Big sister, I think you should drill another borehole. This way you know that you are covered," Ruby suggested, trying to ease her sister's worries.
Diamond nodded her head as she agreed with Ruby's opinion, "I will check on that. At least we can still afford to buy what we need. I feel pity for those farmers who rely on farming for a living."
"Yeah, they are truly in big trouble this time."
The sister changed the topic to something more cheerful on the way and soon they were at the airport.
Diamond hugged her sister goodbye and boarded the plane. As a rich person, she could now afford business class, so she didn't even bother with the economy class.
The flight was one hour long, so she couldn't even sleep but simply picked some magazines to read on the way.
She didn't forget to take a look at the other passengers with her in the cabin. It was a pity that she didn't find any familiar face there.
Around five, she was walking out of the airport with just a handbag in her hands.
Diamond hailed a cab and directed it to a destination that was a bit off, but the driver simply accepted the order and took her there. He needed money and since the client was a woman; he drove with ease, without a doubt or suspicion at all
She was supposed to be going home at the moment, but she was currently on her way to a completely different place. This would have been odd, but with Diamond, there was nothing like that in her dictionary at all.
Thirty minutes later, she paid for the taxi fare and looked at the beautiful city from the high point where she was.
Diamond had the driver take her to the city's lookout point, where one could enjoy the view of the city without paying a single cent.
Diamond's reason for coming all the way here was that there was no surveillance there, and it was private.
"Andrea, scan the area and check if there is anyone"
[Scanning ......... my lady, there is no one around.]
"Perfect!" she was very happy with that response and immediately did something that would make anyone faint upon seeing it.
It was simply too unrealistic and something that would have scientists go crazy if they ever saw her doing that.
Diamond, who was crying about transport issues last weekend, was showered with blessings and received a Dentley HJ7, a two-door car worth eight million Atharian dollars. This was an imported car and her first imported car.
She was planning on keeping this car in Srad. This way she didn't need to worry about transport again whenever she comes to Srad in the future.
