With the reunion being on a Saturday night. Diamond had plenty of days to check Srad out. And since it's been a few years since she was last in the city. She decided to make use of that chance and have some fun.
She arrived on a Thursday and spent her first night in her luxurious Lotus Palace penthouse. A penthouse that was worth millions. And came also with the privileges and ones that would set her apart from others.
After months of being bound by the system. That was constantly rewarding her to do good deeds, something that she was now proficient at. Not because she was required to think that was the stimulant; but because the process of giving was the best.
Just knowing that your kind deed helped to save a life was more rewarding than wearing diamonds. That could get your head cut off if thieves ever felt like visiting.
At the same time, she didn't feel a lot of burden and was filled with worries about the uncertain future.
In most novels, the systems that loved rewarding their bound hosts with rewards. There would always be a catch in the future.
But for her, what was required of her even if the system was to unbind her. It was something that she could manage to achieve.
She was no martyr. Or the heroine who was interested in saving the world.
She wasn't that gracious. But by helping those who were in need, she would do her best alongside other people with the same thoughts as her.
There were so many people out there who required help in so many ways. And there was no such thing as doing enough. After helping one person, another one would pop up as well.
At the same time, Diamond loved what she was doing. For the thought of having people earnestly praying for her and wishing her blessings was very nice.
Although there weren't any monetary benefits and rewards for doing charity, the thoughtful prayers of the ones that she helped were what mattered.
And with helping others, she didn't even need to show her face. So, even if she partied and spent her money as if there was no tomorrow. There will be other people there spending her money in the manner that it was designated for.
So, she didn't need to worry about saving. At least now that she had Andrea by her side.
She no longer looked forward to the monetary rewards from the system hungrily, as she did before. For Andrea was so capable of making her earn more than that in a day.
All her bank accounts were full of money and even a secret account was opened. This was done so that the authorities couldn't target her.
There should always be a limit to what people do, especially on their own. She wasn't worried about the system assets, for everything seemed to be settled.
As for whether people would start inquiring how she got the money and all that before it was a problem, but now with Andrea the genius, she didn't need to worry at all.
Facing the dreary reunion that was to come with former students who used to look down on her so much, Diamond was feeling more confident.
Hearing about the Lotus Palace and being in it was very different. And after a good night's sleep, her confidence was greatly boosted.
There was no way she was going to allow someone with a fraction worth of her assets to stomp on her.
When adding everything she had in possession, she was confident that she would become a billionaire when including Andrea in the mix.
Andrea was priceless and the A. I was something that would drive corporations crazy and she wasn't planning on exposing herself to that.
However, for the physical assets that could be seen, just showing off her penthouse and car was going to be enough to shut those people down.
Although she had an inkling of how they were going to retort, Diamond was ready for anything. For she wasn't going to allow them to hurt her the way they did before.
She was going to get her revenge and make them suffer so much that they would regret ever calling her.
After a comfortable bath, Diamond, who was planning to go shopping and see the city and what had changed in the long run, grabbed some clothes from her suitcase.
It was now December and with the rain refusing to fall for some unknown reason, Diamond wasn't worried about getting her clothes wet and shoes dirty if it rained. For that wasn't going to happen.
The skies were just too clear for nothing of that sort to happen.
Being in the mood for having some fun and showing off her new skin after wearing conservative clothes for more than a year, Diamond's wardrobe didn't disappoint.
She wore a light blue sundress paired with black sandals. As for the bag, she took out a bright yellow bag since she needed some color in life.
Going dull wasn't going to do for her, besides she was just twenty-five years old and soon turning twenty-six years old. She needed to show that.
For jewelry, she wore a gold bracelet and tied her hair in a high ponytail. Since she was blessed with the hair, then she was going to show it off.
With her cell phone and bank cards in her bag, she was ready to go.
Diamond was looking forward to her day, and she was earnestly praying for the day to end well, for she didn't want anything messing up her beautiful day for whatever reason there may be.
With a positive outlook regarding the day, Diamond left the penthouse, which under Andrea's manipulation, automatically locked itself.
Showing off some skin, Diamond was in a good mood. And since she had been working tirelessly ever since she received the system, she had been wearing a lot of formal clothes and jeans.
But now she got to show off a bit, so she was in a good mood.
