Arab sailors were praying on the ship when Dilip Singh reached their ship from his ship and drew them towards the port.
Zubair and his companions were very worried to see armed soldiers on the beach.
Four men boarded a boat and came on board and one of them said in Sindhi language,
"Partap Rai on the ruling chief of Dabil welcomes you people."
They want to meet the officers of these ships.
Dilip Singh asked Pratap Rai's messenger,
But where is Jairam?
He replied that he had gone to his residence to meet chief Partap Rai to arrange for the feast of your people.Chief himself has come to welcome you.
Dilip Singh said to Zubair in Arabic.
It must be an illusion but we have no choice, but to go.
Zubair replied,
I myself wonder why the caretaker of Dabil has brought so many soldiers with him.
But I don't expect Jairam's deception.
His sister is on that ship.
The envoy asked what answer I should take to King(Raja).
Zubair said,
We walk with you.
Zubair and Dilip Singh boarded the boat and reached the shore.
Dilip Singh bowed in front of Pratap Rai and showed good manners, but Pratap Rai did not bow to Zubair's neck.
Dilip Singh says,
In their religion, it is a sin to bow down to a human being.
Pratap Rai replied that staying with us, he would also have to bow down to humans.
Dilip Singha asked, what do you mean?
Pratap Rai replied,
"Nothing. What is on your ships?"
Dilip Singh said, Jairam must have told you everything.
If what,
Jairam has told is true, then these ships cannot leave here.
"Ships can't go through here."
Dilip Singh says,
"Why should they?"
This is the order of the king!
Dilip Singh looked around, the circle of Zubair and his fallen armed soldiers had narrowed. He informed Zubair about the situation in Arabic and upon Zubair's explanation, he addressed Pratap Rai:-
"These are not the ships of the poor sailors of Sindh, you can lay hands on them. These are the ships of the Arabs. On them are the daughters of the nation that rises like a wind against rebels and rebels and covers like a cloud that descends from the sky. They are not afraid of lightning, they seek refuge in their swords."
Pratap Rai got bored and took out his sword. Dilip Singh and Zubair tried to draw their swords but several bare swords and flashing spears stopped their hands.
Pratap Rai said,
"You seem to be a Sindhi, but you have the blood of a cowardly traitor and a bastard in your veins."
Dilip Singh replied,The greatest treachery and disgrace in the world is to deceive one's guest.
And I'm not afraid to say that you...
Dilip Singh's sentence had not been fulfilled when the tip of Pratap Rai's sword fell into his chest and he fell to the ground.
Zubair bent down and supported his hands. He looked at Zubair with a frown and said, Zubair!
My journey with you is over.
I am carrying a heavy burden on my heart.
I grew up in the lap of ignorance.
Abul Hasan made me a human being and you created a longing for Islam in my heart but I don't know why I hesitated to raise the voice of my conscience till now.
I have prayed in secret from people's eyes.
I have fasted but kept on refusing to announce my Muslim status.
Now, I was planning to reach Basra and announce my Muslim status, but God did not approve of this.
I feel sorry for Naheed.
May God save him from the hands of the merciless enemy, my friend!
Do not forget me !
Pray for me !
Dilip Singh then closed his eyes with a sigh. He recited the word Tawheed a few times.
His voice became faint.
The lips trembled and parted.
The stony eyes of the traveler of Basra were looking at a destination from which travelers never return.
Dilip Singh was in the lap of chronic sleep. And putting Dilip Singh on the ground, he started looking at Pratap Rai with contempt.
