Chapter 25 - Jairam met Zubair in the cell

Zubair regained consciousness and opened his eyes.

He was lying in the prison near Ali.

Jairam was soaking a handkerchief with a bucket of cold water and applying it to his wounds.

A woman was trying to bring Ali to consciousness.

Zubair sat up as soon as he regained consciousness.

Jairam filled a bowl of water and put it on her lips.

For a moment, feelings of anger and contempt rose in Zubair's heart, but seeing tears in Jairam's eyes, he drank a few sips of water.

Jairam only said that.

Zubair!

"I'm sorry ."

And tears fell from his beautiful eyes.

Zubair brought a sad smile on his face and said, Jairam, you are a mystery to me.

You brought us to this state by colluding with the ruler of Dabil.

After that you fought the executioners for me.

Now you are also shedding tears, what is the meaning of all these things?

Jairam's lips uttered a sound drowned in pain,

Zubair Trust me.

I am your friend. You saved my life and a Rajput favor cannot be forgotten.

The chief of Dabil cheated with me.

" Locked me in a cell before attacking your ships."

You are angry with me. You consider me a traitor but I am innocent.

If God gives a chance, I will be able to prove it.

Zubair said,

"If you are not a part of this conspiracy.

I ask, where are Naheed and Khalid?"

Jairam replied.

If you don't know anything about Maya, How can I tell you about Khalid and Naheed?

I told you that I was locked in the closet all night.

You were on the ship.

A ship has also disappeared from the harbor this night.

If you have sent them somewhere before the battle,do not hide it from me for God's sake.

I am sure you must have sent them somewhere with the intention of saving them from the cruel hands of Pratap Rai.

Just tell me that Maya is alive and in a safe place.

I promise I won't let you down.

I have assured Pratap Rai, that my sister was not with me.

Otherwise he would not have left you alive today.

Zubair replied,

I wish!!

I can count on you.

By hiding Naheed,

You are placing the responsibility of Maya on us so that we cannot ask King (Raja)about Naheed and Khalid.

Jairam said.

Zubair, trust me.

I have no use in lying to you.

If you and your colleagues have no knowledge about Maya and Naheed,

then it is Pratap Rai's mischief.

Today, He was punishing both of you in front of me so that.

I will not mention Maya and Naheed's name in future."

I make this promise and you don't know how patient it is for a Rajput brother to make such a promise to his sister.

Zubair replied, thank you!

At this time we are guarded by your swords.

Your lies and truth don't matter to us,

I can reward telling the truth and not punish lying, only knowing that we are in this trouble because of you and until I see Naheed, I will not. You may or may not be trusted, the ruler of Dabil. If future circumstances prove that you were innocent in this matter, I will forgive you for this suspicion. If the ruler of Dabil is guilty, then your effort should be that our voice reaches the ears of the King (Raja).

I assure you that I and my partner have no knowledge about Khalid Naheed and your sister.

Sarandeep's sailors from another ship had seen some men from our ship boarding a boat.

The boat disappeared to the south. If they have been kidnapped by this boat, then the mystery is clear.

The boat has disappeared not from our ships but from the harbor and the porters should know who brought the boat from there," Jairam said, slapping his forehead.

Shine! Bastard! Sneaky! Cruel coward!

For the sake of Zubair, forgive my mistake.

I doubted you.

"I am sorry"

Zubair was more impressed by Jairam's bright eyes than these words and he placed his hand on Jairam's shoulder and said,

Jairam!

You go and find him.

Pratap Rai is both cruel and insidious.

Do not tell her the state of your heart, otherwise you will not be able to find your sister and the news will not reach the ears of the King (Raja).

Jairam got up and came out of the prison. The guards closed the door.

After going a few steps away,

Jairam returned and ordered a watchman to open the door of Sarandeep's sailors' quarters.

After asking these people a few questions, he went out with a heavy burden on his heart. Sarandeep's sailors had confirmed Zubair's statement word for word and he was sorry why he doubted Zubair's words.
