Macey and Omari continued talking until the cook was finally done setting up the table. The cook served them their food and they stopped talking as she started to eat. The cook moved away from there and sat at a far end in the dining room where she started watching them eating. The food really tasted good to Macey and she made it known to him, and he just smiled and told her he was actually the one that had prepared the food. She was actually surprised and had to compliment him on his cooking. After a while they both left the dining room together and went over to the sitting room together, where they both sat down and started talking about other random things. But as they continued talking Omari got the urge to ask her about the reason she decided to return back to his place.
"Can I ask you something?" Omari asked.
"Ok go ahead, I'm all ears." Macey urged him, and focused her glance on him as she waited patiently for him to speak up.
