Somewhere in south America team of archeologists looking for the ruins of an older civilization in the forest" Mr. Jim the team digging under the massive big tree have found the cave, they were trying to take a sample of the root of the tree and suddenly the ground beneath there feet collapsed!"
"Are all members okay? is anybody injured?" Sarah wife of Jim and also the colleague asked with a concerned face looking at his husband's face. Boy hurriedly explained
"Everybody is okay, there is a blood-red stone the size of an apple glowing like crazy"
"Tell the team to get out of the cave until we get there and also set up a campsite near the collapse" Jim explained to the boy with excitement, boy ran towards the cave. Jim and his wife have been looking for something like that stone which was only mentioned in history once or twice.
After reaching the site under that massive tree whose width could be around ten men there was a hole in the ground in which the team members have already prepared the rope to go inside it.
"Let's not wait any more, we should check this first before anybody get a chance to" Jim said to his wife and started descending into the hole, after entering the hole and passing through a small cave they came across a house-like structure.
"Why this place is so hot? I'm starting to sweat like crazy." Sarah said to Jim while taking off her jacket and wiping her sweat from her forehead.
Despite being the middle of the winter the cave was very hot, after entering the house-like structure, there was this beautiful blood-red stone glowing on a stone table floating a little bit above the table, beside the stone there were four statues in all the corner of the house standing on the guarding position.
"I can't believe what I am seeing is that stone really floating in the air!" Sarah said moving toward the stone, suddenly her nose starts to bleed and she fell on her knee's.
"Honey are you okay?" Jim ran towards Sarah scared look on his face "Yes, I am okay. we should not go near the stone without proper equipment, that thing must be releasing some kind of radiation, maybe that is the reason that this place is so hot"
"Let's call for some help and get that stone out of here,"
Jim said to Sarah and they both got out of the hole, after a few hours team got down in the hole again with radioactive suits and took the stone out in a sealed case ready to transport the stone back to Washinton D.C. for further examination in a military airplane.
Sarah and Jim waiting in the airport beside the airplane talking to the military marine captain, suddenly a soldier comes running toward them in a hurry
"Sir, the transport which was carrying the artifact has been attacked by the group of professional mercenaries and we also can't find the artifact!"
"What? how did they know we are transporting something?" Jim confusedly looked at the captain "it is not possible, we were directly sent here by Pentagon, only a few higher-ups must have known about it" Jim and Sarah look at each other getting irritated by the situation.
Somewhere in Japan, the same case is being carried by a man wearing all long black clothes, entering the basement of a very luxurious house. Inside the basement group of people standing in a circle wearing the same clothes covering their faces with hoodie.
In the center there was a circle drawn on the ground with ancient writing on it, the man took the stone out of the case and put it in the middle of the writing and the circle, instantly everybody around the stone fell on their knees fighting to stay consciences but the blood starts coming out of everyone's mouth, ear, nose, eyes.
"Let's not waste this chance we will die soon, start chanting everybody, "
The man who brought the stone said opening a very old book, and everybody started chanting in some ancient language in a synchronized voice, everybody around the stone started falling to their death one by one.
Right, when half of the people died, everything around the stone started shaking violently, thunder and lightning so loud that it could even be heard from the basement, and people who were still alive started chanting more louder than before.
Stone starts glowing even brighter so bright that nothing around it can be seen, with that blinding light, a vibrating sound start increasing gradually, to the point where all the glass and clay showpiece in the basement start to have cracks in them and starts breaking one by one.
Only the last person standing continues his chanting and finally, the stone starts to show cracks in it the next moment stone bursts into pieces releasing a big shock wave around the world with a power blackout for ten to fifteen seconds.
In the basement, everything was thrown into the corner of the room by the shockwave and the last person alive said
"Let the era of God begin " cough's blood "again" and died. the whole world feels some kind of unease energy spreading.
In India 25-year-old man was sleeping in his bed, suddenly opens his eyes and find himself in a very big dark hall, there were only four windows in the hall, two at the starting of the hall and on each side and two at the end of the hall.
"What is happening? am I dreaming this?"
By looking outside the window he saw the sky was covered by loud thundering black clouds and red lightning.
"It can't be a dream, this feels so real but at the same time it makes feels so sad"
Tear starts to fall from his eyes without him noticing walking towards the end of the hall with curiosity, flashes of red lighting coming from the windows was the only light source to see in the dark, at the end of the hall there were four steps of stair and above that there was a black throne.
Flashes from the lighting keep coming from the window, but for a moment it seemed like there are four people standing beside the throne two on each side.
"Is someone there? hello!!"
The man asked with fear in his voice. As he got closer he saw there were four black shadows they were not people, by seeing this, the man suddenly took two steps back in fear.
"What are you? what is going on?"
One of the shadows raised its arm towards the man showing hand and said.
"My lord it's time, you must remember"
Another shadow said.
"World will be in chaos again only you are the one who can bring it to order"
"You must wake up, You must wake up, You must wake up"
In a synchronized voice, all the shadow starts shouting this.
"Jay wake up kid, it's already past 10 a.m."
Suddenly his eyes open up in his bed again, on the side his mother trying to wake him up
"Jay you have been sleeping till late in the morning every day, what are you doing at the night"
Mother said with a bit of frustration in her eyes and start walking away from his room.
"I have already prepared your breakfast, it's on the dining table, I am going to our shop to help your father"
The mother left the room saying that. There was a relief in his eyes.
"That was some freaky dream but those voices in the dream sounded really familiar anyway why does mom seem so frustrated?"
Getting up from the bed he started doing his regular routine starting with brushing his teeth he switched on the tv. On every channel, there was same news about last night's whole world power outage and strange occurrences happening in the world from natural disasters to animals running freely in the city as well as hundreds of murder news and people acting strangely.
"Well that's about normal for this fucked up world..."
He said that with discontent on his face, it had been one year since Jay break-up with his girlfriend after that I quit my job and moved back into my parent's house, it was always hard for Jay to fit in with the people and society but after his breakup, he turned into a total shut-in.
"Brother are you waking right now, I guess I'll get my first job before you get one."
Jay's little sister Anya said coming back home from college, she was in the last year of her engineering course, despite torturing each other with words both had a typical brother-sister bond.
"I don't mind if you can feed me, I am happy to stay like this."
He said that without any shame on his face with a smile, the little sister went into her room without any comeback, his family has been seeing him doing the same thing for over a year, thinking that their words may affect the behavior they had been harsh on him, even with so much pressure from people around him it did not have an effect.
While sitting at the dining table eating his breakfast and watching TV there was news about a man who was claiming to be a god who has again come to this world to guide his people, even people started making cults in his name.
Suddenly Jay felt his food choking in his throat and started coughing, he tries to reach for the glass of water on the other side of the table while coughing in an instant glass of water flew in his hand and the water in the glass splashed everywhere.
"Now this is interesting...."
With a smile on his face and a hint of surprise he said.
