Chapter 10 - Luna's Mother's Anxiety

Mrs. Debora's anxiety about Luna's mental condition was unstoppable. This was proven when he asked the princess to immediately take him to meet Alice to prove Luna's words about the Marck family. The middle-aged woman, instead of doubting her daughter's statement. It's just that he was afraid that something happened to the emotional condition of the princess that caused her mental state to be shaken.

"Luna, I'm done getting ready. Have you finished changing?" his mother shouted.

"Wait a minute, Mom, I'm tying my hair," answered Luna.

"Okay son, I'll wait for you on the terrace," said his mother.

"Okay ma'am," shouted Luna.

Mrs. Deborah was waiting for the princess on the terrace of their house. A few minutes later, Luna started to walk out of her room.

He rushed to the terrace to meet his mother.

"Mom, let's go to Alice's house now," said Luna.

"Okay son, are you going to ride Charlie?" her mother asked.

"How about we just walk, Mom, Alice's house is not far from here," suggested Luna.

"Okay son," said the mother agreeing.

The two of them started stomping their feet and walked towards Alice's house.

"Mother, in fact someday I want to marry the man I love," said Luna in the middle of the road.

"Have you met the man?" asked the mother smiling

"Not yet," answered Luna.

The mother and daughter pair laughed at each other.

"You've grown up son, there's nothing wrong if you fall in love," said his mother.

"But I've never felt that feeling, Mom, many of my peers are women, not only at home at school," said Luna.

"One day you will feel it," said the mother.

"But I don't want to leave mom and dad," Alice said hugging her mother.

Alice's roof came into view, it might take a few minutes to get there.

"That's Alice's house ma'am," said Luna.

"Oh that's Alice's house," replied her mother.

The mother walked faster, it seemed that Mrs. Deborah was very curious and could not wait to hear Alice's answer.

"Mom wait for me, your steps are very fast," Alice shouted.

"It's not mother's pace that's too fast, but your slow pace Lun," said Mrs. Debora.

Finally, they arrived at Alice's yard, her house looks simple from the outside but the atmosphere is very beautiful.

"Excuse me," shouted Mrs. Deborah.

"Excuse me," he shouted again.

But there was no answer from the occupants of the house.

"Lun, it looks like there's no one at Alice's house," said the mother.

Luna, who was still gasping for air from chasing after her mother's steps, broke into Alice's yard.

"Alice, I'm coming," Luna shouted.

"Luna, you can't enter someone's house like that," the mother shouted.

Not long after, Alice came out of her house.

"Come in Lun, there's Aunt Debora too. Come in, Bi, I was in the bathroom earlier," said Alice.

Luna and her mother also followed Alice's steps into the simple house belonging to Alice's exit.

"Sit down, Bi, Alice to the kitchen for a moment," said Alice.

"Thank you, Alice," said Mrs. Deborah.

Alice left the two of them in the living room, and she headed straight for the kitchen to make them both hot tea. A few minutes later, Alice came up to them with two cups of hot tea.

"Please Lun, Please Bi," said Alice.

"No need to bother Alice. Auntie here just wants to ask for a moment," said Luna's mother.

"Ask about what Bi?" she asked.

"Sit down Alice, Aunty just wanted to ask about the Marck family you know," Mrs. Debora replied.

Alice was a little surprised to hear Luna's mother's statement.

"You mean the information we got yesterday from the city?" she asked.

"That's right Alice, Auntie could you please tell me about the Marcks," Mrs. Debora asked.

The girl also told what she knew without hiding anything.

"Okay Bi, I'm going to town with my brother Eryk. At first, we found out about the Marck family from Mr. John. He is a farmer by profession, he said that if the farmers' crops in their city must be forced to sell to the Marck family at a cheap price." said Alice.

"The second from the owner of the inn where we stopped while in town, the man was named Mr. Henry. He said that apart from being cruel, the Marck family also adhered to the Dark Arts. And almost every full moon arrived, and a pack of wolves came trying to enter their house. But when they were about to enter, the pack of Wolves bounced and seemed to howl in pain," Alice explained.

"Wolves? How can there be a pack of wolves in the city," said Luna's mother.

"I don't know, Bi. My brother Eryk also found something odd when he accidentally was in front of the Marck family's house," said Alice.

"What kind of anomaly? Please tell Auntie," Mrs. Deborah asked.

"How about Eryk just tell the story, Madame, I'll call him for a moment, okay?" said Alice.

Mrs. Deborah just nodded, while the princess was just silent watching her mother and her best friend share stories. Alice was seen walking into her sister's room, she woke her sister who was still tired after visiting the city.

"Eryk, wake up. Mrs. Deborah wants to talk to you," said Alice.

Eryk seemed not to hear his brother's words, he was still sleeping soundly on his bed.

"Eryk, Brother, please open your eyes. Mrs. Deborah asked us to visit the city again. Will you come with me this time?" seduced Alice.

Hearing the words of the city the sister woke up, her eyes opened wide and suddenly her body felt fit.

"Are Sis, are you going to town again? Okay, I'm coming," replied Eryk.

"It was just Big Brother's cradle to wake you up, go see Mrs. Deborah first. She wants to talk to you," Alice said.

"So Big Brother lied to me?" asked Erik indignantly.

The younger brother, who was still tired, was heartened to meet Luna's mother.

"Good morning madam," said Eric.

"Morning handsome boy, sit down, Auntie wants to talk," said Mrs. Deborah.

Hearing the compliment from Luna's mother, Eryk blushed.

"Thank you, Bi, what do you want to ask me?" asked Erik softly.

"Auntie wanted to ask about the Marck family that you knew about while you were in town yesterday," said Mrs. Debora.

"Tell me about the old lady and Liora, the others I told her," Alice said.

The younger brother also understood which part he had to tell the middle-aged woman.

"So when I accidentally stopped in front of the Haugerts' mansion, I met an old woman riding in a horse-drawn carriage. She greeted me and told me to leave the place I was stepping on. But when I watched her reach the middle of the Haugert's yard, the old woman disappeared with the carriage," said Eryk.

"About Liora, can you tell me son?" asked Mrs. Deborah again.

"Liora is the adopted son of the Haugert family, they raised Liora since childhood. The girl is very beautiful, but strangely she likes to bathe in deer blood," explained Eryk.

Luna's mother was very relieved to hear the stories from the two children, it turned out that what she feared about her daughter did not happen.

But his heart is now in turmoil when he hears the truth about the Haugert family.
