This morning Alice plans to meet Luna to share the information she can about her future husband's family. He immediately took a shower and rushed to his friend's house.
"Morning Father, morning Mother, morning everyone," said Alice, greeting all her family at the dinner table.
"Morning," another said.
"Sorry, I think I woke up too late to make breakfast for you," Alice said.
"It's okay, eat with us," the father said.
"Sorry dad, I'm in a hurry to get to Luna's house to get Charlie back," Alice refused.
"Okay, be careful," his father said.
Alice seemed impatient to share the information she got with her best friend. The lively girl left her family and went to her best friend's house. Arriving at Luna's house, she immediately called her best friend.
"Luna," Alice shouted.
It wasn't Luna who came to Alice, but the maid who opened the gate for her.
"Miss Alice, please come in. Miss Luna is taking a bath," said Luna's maid.
"Okay, thanks," Alice said.
He also took Charlie's reins and led him into Luna's yard.
"You wait here," Alice said to Luna's favorite horse.
He tied it to a tree that grew in his friend's yard. Then he entered Luna's luxurious house and waited for his friend who was taking a bath in the living room.
"Hey Alice, are you here yet?" said Luna who had just finished the ritual of cleaning the body.
"Yes Luna," Alice replied.
The two of them came to each other and hugged each other.
"How's Al? Did you guys get the information I asked for?" Luna asked.
"Yes Lun, hurry up and put on your clothes. I'll tell you the news that I got while we were in town," said Alice.
His friend immediately climbed the stairs to his private room which was located on the second floor.
"Alice, you go up to my room, okay?" Luna shouted as soon as she reached the second floor.
"All right," Alice shouted.
He rushed Luna to her room.
Knock knock knock, Alice's voice knocked on Luna's door.
"Come in Al, I'm done changing clothes," Luna shouted.
Alice opened the door to the room slowly and entered it with light steps.
"What news did you get about Marck?" Luna asked.
"According to the townspeople, the Marck family adheres to the Dark Arts and behaves badly towards society," Alice said.
"Then what again?" Luna insisted.
"Once, Eryk was walking around the city. He accidentally passed the luxury house belonging to the Marck family. My brother was stunned to see the splendor of the building that was similar to the palace. Then he was reprimanded by a woman who was riding a horse-drawn carriage about to enter the mansion. At first, there was nothing strange, but after arriving in the middle of Marck's spacious yard, the woman suddenly disappeared with her horse carriage," Alice said.
Luna was shocked to hear the explanation from her best friend, her face immediately turned pale.
"In addition, the Marck family also forces residents who work as farmers to sell their crops to them at a low price. Then he sells it to other areas at a high price," Alice continued.
"Alice, I'm really scared to hear your story," Luna said, holding Alice's hand tightly.
"Calm down Luna, there's still time to talk to your family. You'd better explain this matter, as a consideration for your matchmaking plans," suggested Alice.
"Any other taboos Alice?" Luna asked again.
Alice paused and thought, trying to remember if there was anything she hadn't said. Suddenly he remembered the adopted son of the Haugert family named Liora.
"There is one more thing, about the adopted son of the Haugert family who likes to bathe in deer blood. But Eryk hasn't told him about it, because Eryk is the one who knows about the girl," Alice said.
"What? Deer's blood bath?" Luna asked surprised.
"Yes Lun, but the certainty of the story is not yet clear. Because my sister has not had time to tell me," Alice said.
Luna's face grew paler, her lips trembled with confusion and nervousness.
"I'm getting more and more curious about the Marck family. About his cruelty, the Dark Arts, the missing woman, and Liora," Luna huffed.
"If you're curious, try asking your parents. Maybe they know more about the Marcks," suggested Alice.
"They never told me about Marck," shouted Luna, tearing her long hair and venting her emotions.
"Oh yes, Lun, another one. Every full moon there is a pack of wolves that come to the Haugerts' house. They howl and try to enter the mansion, but when they are about to enter they seem to bounce and howl in pain." Alice said again.
Wolf?" Luna asked, as if in disbelief.
His chest was getting harder and harder to breathe, his lungs seemed to constrict when he heard Alice's explanation.
"Yes, Wolf. Then we met a woman who owned a bakery and milk shop in a village not far from the pine forest we passed. The woman's name was Mary, she said that in the pine forest there was a wolf demon," Alice said.
The two fell silent and looked at each other.
"Do you think it has something to do with the pack of wolves that came to Marck's residence with the wolf demons in the pine forest?" Luna asked.
"I don't know, I thought so. But we can only guess and the truth needs to be proven," Alice said.
The atmosphere in the room grew tense. Luna couldn't hide her anger. He looked back and forth rubbing his face and hair.
"Luna, try to be a little calm. Don't be afraid, every problem has a solution," suggested her best friend.
"How can I calm down Alice, it's not a trivial matter," Luna said.
"Calm down Luna, I will be by your side to help you," Alice, patting her best friend's shoulder.
"Thank you, Al, I don't know in what way I repay your kindness," Luna said.
"Okay, calm your mind. I'm leaving home, are you willing to take me to the yard?" Alice asked.
"Of course Alice, but eat breakfast with us first. All the food has been prepared on the dining table, my father and mother must have been there," Luna said.
Alice seems to be interested in Luna's offer because she hasn't had breakfast yet and of course, the food at Luna's house is very tempting.
"Okay Luna," Alice agreed.
The two of them rushed down the stairs and into the dining room.
"Hello Alice," said Mrs. Deborah when she saw her daughter's friend.
"Hello Aunt, how are you?" Alice said.
"Very well, Alice. Luna, let's take Alice to breakfast together," Mrs. Debora said.
"Okay, ma'am. Alice let's eat, please choose the side dish you like," Luna said.
Alice nodded and immediately took several kinds of side dishes that were already served on the dining table.
"Eat a lot," Luna whispered.
"Sure Lun, the food at your house always tickles my tongue," Alice joked smiling.
Both of them laughed, and finally this morning Alice enjoyed breakfast with Luna's family.
