Mandy and I had decided to go out for dinner together. I had opened the door for her once we arrived at the restaurant and got out of my 2019 SUV, and closed the door.
Mandy had thanked me and she was fluffing her beautiful dress, and she was wearing these red high heels that matched her red dress. "You look nice," I said. Mandy chuckled, "That's like the fifth time you told me that," Mandy said, smiling while walking behind me. I turned, leaning a hand out, "Okay, so is this a date?" Mandy asked.
"Well, what do you think it is?" I asked. Mandy chuckled laughing. She then grabbed my hand, I smiled and we started marching our way up to the restaurant known as Eleven | Restaurant & Lounge.
Once the champagne came, the waiter poured some in our glass. "Are you guys ready to order?" The waiter asked, smiling. "Yeah, we'll both have the Beef Ribeye, please, and um, I guess leave the champagne here, we could probably use more if it."
The waiter understood, laying down the champagne bottle on our reserved table. I have had feelings for Mandy since I first met in law school. I didn't know how to express my feelings to her, but I think she is sweet, kind, and the funniest person ever. I mean, even if I could have a bad day, Mandy would find a way to just turn that bad day into something that would help me get over it. I don't know, I don't know what's so special about her.
She's so pure, beautiful and the most perfect girl ever. I could literally just hold her hand all day, and never let go. I was scared she might reject me. But I guess, they're second chances in finding someone you truly love. If I really truly love someone,I wouldn't let them go.
"So?"
"So what?"
"Is this your very first date? You seem nervous," Mandy said.
I sighed, "I had a few girlfriends in the past, but they just didn't know what they wanted in a man I guess."
Mandy understood, "Well believe it or not, you're my actual first boyfriend, like my first official boyfriend."
I chuckled, smiling, "Official?"
"Okay, ha ha, you know what I mean."
I chuckled once again. I sighed. I then had something pop up on my mind. Mandy could tell that I had something on my mind.
"Hey?" Mandy said, grabbing my hand. "Hm?" I said. "Are you okay? You kind of spaced out on me." I chuckled, "No, I am okay, sorry." I then smiled at Mandy. "You want to talk about it?" Mandy asked, wondering. "Um, I uh, I don't know, I mean, it's just, I don't know," I said, shaking my head not knowing what to say. "Oh, if we need to cancel, we can." I shook my head no, frowning. "No, we don't need to cancel." Mandy sighed, smiling.
Once Mandy and I were at her house, I walked with her to her front door. Once Mandy took her keys out of her purse, she then turned and unlocked the door. Mandy then turned back facing me. She walked up to me and I just stood. Mandy and I were in love, I felt some butterflies in my stomach.
"I love you," Mandy said, softly.
"I love you, too." I answered back.
Mandy then chuckled, and I started getting closer to her. We got closer to each other, and eventually we started kissing. We kissed one time, and we looked into each other's eyes.
We then kissed again, again and again. I sighed, and so did Mandy. "I have to go home now, my nanny is probably wondering where I am." Mandy then chuckled, and she understood. "I love you, I love you," Mandy said. I chuckled, smiling, "I know." I then started to walk away and Mandy and I let go of each other's hand. I went back to my car. I got in, and went back home.
