He could hearing everyone whispering around him. It was as if they were looking at something wonderful.
"...?"
'Was it because he was literally in a pair of shorts and T-shirt right in the middle of Himalayas?'
But that man standing in the middle of them was also in his suit only.
"...."
'Ah seriously romance novel logic.'
Although Jihan's body was currently radiating spirituality, he still couldn't do much besides warming himself up and having endless stamina. In fact for the strong the high spirituality in him might work as a fake alarm. They might think that he is the strongest but he obviously will not be.
Theoretically speaking the spirituality just molded his body into the best possible constitution for learning martial arts. But he wasn't interested in doing so.
As if sensing his reluctance to move towards him the man suddenly started walking towards him. He watched as he walked gracefully with assured footsteps towards him. Suddenly he realized that he had no other option other than running away. Jihan felt tired at the prospect of doing so, but he had a lot to do so he couldn't get involved in this right now.
He silently said a prayer for this fellow cannon fodder's well being and then hoped he had to never see him again.
After that he broke out in a run. Jihan at the very least was sure that no one here had the stamina to catch him.
He heard shouts from behind but he ran without turning around. After reaching a certain distance and he turned around and was surprised to see no one following him.
"...."
'Feeling strangely insulted what to do'
Or it could be he already knew about his hotel so he wouldn't care about catching him.
Jihan shivered at the possibility and quickly hailed a cab towards his hotel. He forced himself to take a nap on the road. Although he was too on the edge to take a rest, he knew that it was important for his mind to take a rest. He only had 3 days to figure out how to avoid the zombie problem.
Jihan woke up from the 11 hours of a deep sleep and wondered where he was for a moment. He paid the cab driver and left for the hotel. He hesitantly entered his room and sighed in relief when he saw the waiter boy sitting on his bed who immediately brightened up after seeing him.
"I thought you deceived me and ran away!"
Jihan chuckled at his words the looked at the items he brought. Cracker, cup noodles, chips and most importantly.
Jihan felt tears gather in the corner of his eyes when he looked at it.
Saunf!
He sniffed it and felt satisfaction spread inside him when he ate some.
This might be the only thing that he regretted not having stashed away in his past. So he will make sure to gather it this time around!
He chewed on saunf as he looked at the axe and few daggers in his hand and felt that this might be enough. Besides such weapon would work only for humans, he will have no need of these after the first few days of apocalypse. The sleeping bag looked comfy enough and the painkillers were enough for some emergency. Satisfied, Jihan paid the right amount of the things and also tipped the waiter generously.
After organizing everything and packing his bag. Jihan went to the bathroom took a long bath. He enjoyed soaking his muscles in the warm water. After that he took a quick shower and changed into a bathrobe and sent all his dirty clothes for laundry.
Jihan felt strangely on edge today. He decided to take his mind off things by grooming his nails, moisturizing his body. Then he sat down and meditated for a while to calm himself down. He ordered Italian cuisine and ate the white sauce pasta with a relish then he chewed on saunf and sat down to plan things.
Although there wasn't much to plan.
On the 28th, a strong earthquake will shake the earth and then the divided lands will be joined in a circle forcefully. This will cause chaos. After that people will be given their new identity according to the system assigned to each region.
Next there will zombie outbreak in the east, later called the 'Charak',
the North, later called 'Shmal', will experienced what was later called 'iceage'. People will randomly start having their body parts freeze overtime and in the end they completely froze. The prerequisite for it was that the person who gathered the most of evil energy from people around would freeze faster.
West later called 'Gharb' was affected by the 'Flood'. They either had to find the reason for the flood and stop it or they had to leave their country before the water level was fully filled. In a world where no human made item worked and people still had a long way to get abilities, only a few brave tried to find the reason for the flood, most focused on running.
And lastly the South, later called 'Jannoub', was affected by what was called later, 'Tilt'. As the name suggested the ground tilted and kept tilting. Either you could find the reason for the tilt or you could run before the land completes a 360 degree and basically falls on you and kills you.
'Death by sky falling on you'
This was the slang used for the people of South, it was a touche topic for them.
But the center of the whole place, a land with weird topographical combinations was unaffected of it all except the crack on it in the very between, though it was not that difficult to cross. No one knew the reason for the crack and it caused no harm so people basically forgot about it.
Jihan then slinged his mountain bag on his back and the school bags with money on his front and walked outside.
The receptionist flinched after seeing him walk out. She started gearing herself up thinking she might have to fight this customer for the refund money he might ask, but to her surprise Jihan just left the keys on the desk and walked out with a thank you.
"...."
The receptionist blushed in shame.
Jihan walked out of the hotel calmly and sat in a cab and looked at the mountains around him.
"Where would you like to go sir?"
Jihan though for a while and replied.
"Delhi."
..........
Jinha woke up with a start and gasped loudly.
"You are awake."
A chilly voice coming from the corner of the room made her flinch.
"WHO ARE YOU?!"
She shouted, then suddenly the lights turned on and her eyes widened at the scene in front of her.
"Yoo Jonghyun..."
The man stood there wrapped in a noble aura and looked at her condescendingly.
"There will be no second time for you."
Her eyes widened at his words but she immediately calmed herself down and looked at him with grin.
"I see so it is like this but you know it too, you can't do anything without me."
At her words the man in front of her looked her in the eye for the first time causing a chill spread in her spine.
"I never said I was going to kill you."
