Reaching the outskirts of Kawahiva tribe Jihan made sure to announce his presence to everyone by shouting loudly.
To be very honest he could have very easily bought some skill to arm himself, but there were many things he could get from the Kawahiva tribe if he played his card right, and a player who has no history of entering a main quest couldn't possibly have that much power. He didn't want to work in a fake alarm, if possible he could show them his probable talent and sign a contract for their help and repay it accordingly.
"Is there anybody here-"
"huh? a human?"
"hmm? is there a main quest ongoing here?"
At first hearing the voices Jihan relaxed, but then he flinched when he saw their prominent birthmarks, from what he remembered of the novel there was no such description given about them.
Even though generally this cliche romance novel didn't have much details, but things regarding the protagonists were explained with a lot of details. Thus it didn't make sense that such a distinctive feature was not told by the author.
"Oi human, did you come here for discipleship from our leader?"
Jihan snapped out of his thoughts as he cursed the switch in his head, since coming to this world his switch has started to flip without any further morning making it difficult for him as he forgot to measure the flowing time.
"A-ah that well I honestly didn't expect it-"
"You don't want to?"
"No not at all I j-just don't think I am worthy-"
"Then it's settled, follow us Human."
"Ah- that yes!"
Jihan felt like crying as he was dragged by two half naked mens like a potato bag.
'This fucking tutorial! even the tribes are giving discipleship! He didn't want! He has no time fuck!'
...
Reaching the tribal area Jihan was shocked to see that the tribe was very well organised in their housing. Soon he was dragged to house in the middle of the tribe, the tribe people all walked out to watch the spectacle.
"A Human?"
"Human for discipleship?"
"Eh are human's this beautiful?"
"Wow so white."
Jihan blushed at their remarks. Getting dragged inside he felt at awe of the warm and comforting aura of the thatched hut.
"Hoho such a spirit, Biru and Shiru who did you drag in?"
So these two burly men were named Biru and Shiru. Jihan looked at the wrinkled women standing in front of him who had white ball like eyes, containing no cornea or iris, and a similar birthmark on her cheek. She smiled kindly upon sensing people's presence.
"Grandma it's a human for discipleship!"
"....Human? Impossible."
Jihan sighed. This could turn into a fortune if he played his cards right.
"Human, what is your name?"
"....Jihan."
"Hoho an appropriate name for an appropriate spirit I see how very intriguing."
The wrinkled women gave a wide toothless smile her blind eyes twinkling more than seeing ones. She then raised her hand towards Jihan as she beckoned him.
"Child come here, Biru Shiru leave us."
Bowing at her command the two burly men left making the hut much less crowded. Sighing Jihan walked up to her.
"Have an existence like primordal been allowed by the unnamed to roam so freely."
Jihan flinched at her words and sighed. She knew far too much. Jihan knew he needed her help for this quest so he just decided be to truthful about his situation.
"…I am not an existence belonging to the primordals."
"…Is that so?"
Silence enveloped the hut as Jihan let the women think for herself, though he was sure he couldn't name it.
"Sigh, well tumoltous time require different approaches."
She stated as she sighed and looked around for a moment.
"Child, I am sure you don't need discipleship of the the Yaonamo tribe. Then what do you require?"
'!! what's wrong with his luck? why the yaonamo tribe?'
Jihan sighed internally. The Yaonamo tribe were actually much more than a tribe. They could be called the messenger of the 'great being' himself. They had immense authority and were once very much sought after since they were the only way one could connect to the great being with the authority over akashic records, when the great being disappeared they too had suddenly disappeared and no one knew where they went. Of course that was a story for another time.
Jihan sighed as he decided to spare the talks and put forward his demand.
"….I want to know the way to Apple tree."
"…!!"
Looking at he surprised expression Jihan pulled his phone out to show her but realised she couldn't see and flinched.
"I see you have a quest regarding it."
'Suddenly feeling like a fool what to do.'
"I guess even the tutorial area owners can see the respective quests of people in their area."
The wrinkled women smiled at his words.
"That's right. Though this quest….it's more like a death wa- ahem, well I can help you with the directions of course but you need to do something for me."
"Of course, what should I-"
"Not now, you are not strong enough child."
"….is that so?"
"Huhuhu I didn't mean to be offensive but how about you try training with Biru and Shiru for a while before deciding to leave?."
"Then I will not be polite."
"Huhu you need not be of course."
Sighing Jihan stepped out of the hut where he was greeted by two bulky chest.
"Human, your training will start tomorrow morning."
Biru announced in a satisfied voice.
"….Yes."
"Let us show you your sleeping quarters for now."
"…Alright."
"And one more thing human."
Jihan flinched at Biru's loud voice.
"…yes?"
"Don't put your eyes on the women of our tribe, it won't turn out well for you."
Jihan felt a bit down for a moment.
'Do I look like a pervert?'
"…I will keep it in mind."
"Good, then let's go."
Again Jihan was held up by his shoulders and dragged towards a smaller hut.
.....
Kim Hyesung sat down on a broken road bridge and looked down on the Ganga river flowing beneath his dangling legs. Ever since what people call the rift happened he felt a sense of incongruity, but to be honest with all the recent events it was very easy why he was feeling so. Sighing he got up from his spot and looked up at the environment surrounding him.
'It's all gone to ruins.'
"Haa"
Kim Hyesung had just ascended the position of CEO that he had inherited from his parents who had abruptly left for what they claimed to be retirement tour. He didn't know where they were, he had no contact with them for over 6 months, though knowing his father he was sure he would have figured something out.
Sighing he looked back at what he could call his team, it included his bodyguard from Pakistan, his secretary and a few more people that he met on the way, they were currently inside a dome, in a week something called a main quest would start, that's why before that he had decided to get used to the new world as much as possible, plus he aimed to contact his other colleagues, family and friends back in Korea about the possible situation.
"Kim Hyesung-ssi"
Looking at the girl his bodyguard had saved when she was about to be crushed by a piece of earth who was currently looking at him with serious eyes, Kim Hyesung decided to gather his scattered thought.
"Suyeoung-ssi, did something happen?"
He watched as she bit her lips with a troubled expression and pushed her bangs back. To be honest there were 2 more girls in his team but they were a but troublesome as they kept sticking to Kim Hyesung, he felt very much disgusted by it that's why he was really cold to them, but Suyeoung was many time more mature than them and kept a respectable distance from him thus he treated her warmly.
She was the type who relied on herself thus Kim Hyesung who saw her troubled expression felt that whatever she was going to say must be very important.
"...Actually, you know that I am under discipleship right?"
This was the second reason as to why he paid attention to her. A very few constellations had provided discipleship, most of them gave sponsorship. There was a very fine line between a sponsorship and discipleship. The benefits on the surface were the same, but a constellation could only provide discipleship once in its lifetime while the sponsorship could be done for one at a time, meaning they could provide sponsorship to someone else if the person with sponsorship died, in a way it explained as to why discipleship was so important, though many people didn't understand that concept and most in pursuit of power blindly chose a sponsor.
To be honest Kim Hyesung believed that sponsorship was much more beneficial to him in long run, considering that sponsorship was same as a contract, and a contract is dissolvable as long as you have enough power and money, but discipleship was much more primitive, he felt it was much harder to run from such a contract which developed on the basis of deep feelings, it might have far much adverse effects that he may not be able to solve with money.
But in earlier stages he felt that discipleship would have been very helpful, considering the fact that as a disciple he would have the full supervision of a being more than enough to protect himself, rather than a flimsy for of sponsorship contract, who might just sponsor him for fun. After gaining the basic understanding over all these things Hyesung decided that it would be best to have team members with discipleship/sponsorship first, he could observe their actions and reaction clearly, and could discern the advantages and disadvantaged much more carefully.
Thus he ultimately formed a team with a group of people with sponsorship, and also a person with discipleship, who was much harder to find.
If Jihan the transmigrator would have heard all this he would have clapped hard for the 'ice-block-president/CEO', and would might have just handed over the title of transmigrator to him.
Turning back to the Suyeoung who was opening and closing her mouth as if uncertain as how to formulate what she wanted to say Hyesung kept his patience and waited for her to speak.
"T-that my constellation has sent a quote of some sorts."
Hyesung frowned and nodded at words.
"...Can I see it?"
Suyeoung hesitated but eventually nodded. She then passed a piece of paper to him. Looking down at it Hyesung felt a bit dumfounded by what was written on it.
'What is a white lotus bunny? ask the president next to you.'
"I h-heard from your bodyguard you are the president of a big conglomeration t-that's why I asked."
"..."
Hyesung felt his brain lagging for a moment.
'White lotus bunny? is that a specie? a mutation between a plant and a rabbit? is that even possible?'
As a person who had always immersed himself in learning to grow the company he inherited from his father, the president was someone far removed from such terminologies, similar to the constellation-nim themselves. For a moment Suyeoung's lips twitched as he watched the evident confusion on the face of the man in front of him who stood tall and wide with his 6'5 height yet scrunched his eyebrows like the question on paper was some heaven's mystery.
