Ruby blew hot steam rising over her bowl of soup. Her face immediately turned red when exposed to the heat of the bonfire.
After making sure the soup wasn't too hot, Ruby took a sip slowly, savoring the flavor of the spices that immediately invaded her tongue.
Ruby smiled a little; she felt happy because she could eat warm food when the temperature around her started to creep down. As stated by Matthew, the temperature in the Dyras Forest was getting colder as soon as the sun was no longer visible.
Ruby's body was still shivering slightly even though she was already wearing many layers of thick coats. The spiritual energy given by Matthew has started to run out, so her body has lost warmth.
"Your Majesty," Dena whispered beside Ruby's ear. "Do you want me to call His Majesty? You seem to have suffered from a cold."
Ruby grunted inside her heart. She didn't expect having an overly sensitive maid to be so troubling.
"No need. I can call him later," Ruby wrote.
