Note that from now on most of the story will be from Alan's POV, using first person speech.

At Luxion Academy
"*pants* ha"
'This is really tiring I'm just glad that I didn't lose my life'
By the time I reached the academy it was already nigh time, so I quickly rushed to my room, took a shower and feel asleep without eating anything. In the morning, I was still tired even though I had a good night sleep. The reason would probably be that I ran from the academy to the Evernight Forest back and forth using [Flash Step]. [Flash Step] is technically not a movement art, it is just a product of the [Mad demon art], where I propelled myself by applying the [Mad demon art] to my legs and dash.
"*yawns*"
In Front of me was the classroom of class 1, which is also the class the main characters attends. There are 10 classes from class 1 to class 10, with each having up to 50 students, since only 500 students were successfully enrolling at Luxion this year.
Once I entered the classroom, I found out it was empty. I decided to sit on the last row on the right side. As soon as I sat down someone else entered the classroom. It was a figure with blue hair and ocean blue eye, that was Luna Shepherd, daughter of the GuildMaster of 'Starlight' the 2nd ranked guild and younger sister of Vanessa.
She walked up to where I was seated and said.
"It's been a while since we last saw each other. How are your parents doing"
She looked kind of worried. Guess she found out about her sister.
"They are alive and kicking as always"
"And what about your grandfather?"
"Still out on his mission"
"I see"
The Shepherds and the Halls families were good friends with each other so naturally we knew each other, at least the previous Alan did. And for my grandfather, Wallace Hall, is one of the 4 SSS rank heroes, but he never took part in his son guild's matter, so that why my father's guild was not ranked higher. Wallace wanted his son to be strong without depending on him, but he was a doting grandparent. After returning a few years later and finding that his grandson was dead, not only did beat the sh*t out of his son, but also went on a rampage on the demon territory.
After the greeting she sat in front of me. Soon someone else entered the classroom. She had blonde hair and yellow eyes, it was Sophie Cress, daughter of the GuildMaster of 'Golden Vermilion' 1st ranked guild and her grandfather, Eden Cress was an SSS rank hero as well.
"Yo"
After giving me a simple greeting, she sat down next to Luna and started talking. Then 2 new figures entered the classroom, it was Edric and Ruby Lawrence, they were the grandchildren of the Hero Association president, who is none other than Oliver Lawrence who was a SSS ranked hero as well. While they both attended the academy at the same time, they were not the same age Ruby was 1 year younger than us. She successfully enrolled as she is a talented genius.
They both gave me a nod as greeting then took their seat. While Ruby sat next to Sophie, Edric sat in front of them. And here I was trying not to get involve with them. As the 3 girls continued to talk more and more students started to come in.
Since I didn't know how Leid Wayner, the MC, look like I decided to wait until the attendance to find him.
When it was 8:00 am, two figures entered the class, one male and one female.
"Nice to meet you all. I'm Cassian Lane, your theory teacher"
"I'm Irene Shillingford, your Practical teacher"
Cassian is a very kind teacher currently an S- rank hero, he will breakthrough to the S rank but that will be his limit as his body was too weak to be able to continue growing stronger. Irene on the other hand is a more strict teacher that is an S+ rank hero who will breakthrough to the SS- rank later on, but if she can continue ranking up is unknown.
"let's all do our best since are going to be together for 7 years"
Students attend academies at age 15 and spent up to 7 years learning there. 4 years are for Students to learn the basic, while the other 3 are for them to get experience through apprenticeship.
Soon they started to take the attendance.

"Huh? Ah, p-present"
So that's the MC, Leid Wayner. At least he is not ranked dead last. Sadly, he made a bad first impression as he was caught gazing at Irene. Everyone was holding their laugh.
"We are going to start our theory classes, then you will head to the training faculty for your practical class."
Everyone went quiet as soon as the class started. Some were attentive, some went dozing off, some were slacking and other couldn't understand anything. As for me I have to thanks the previous Alan, as he was a bookworm, I already knew all this thanks to his memory.
'Thank previous Alan I will make sure that our family doesn't get a tragic end'
As he was thanking the previous Alan a thought crossed his mind. If he had both memories of both worlds doesn't that mean that both of them are now the same person. He could get deeper into it his thoughts as they were broken by the bell announcing the end of the theory class.
Soon Miss Irene guided us to a warehouse
'Ah, yes the famous weapon choosing scene!'
While some already knew the weapon that they were going to choose, other thought a lot before choosing as some wanted to try something new. The reason why the academy provided these weapons were because not everyone was rich enough to buy a weapon, but also because these were training weapon modified by the academy. Their sharpness and power could be altered thus allowing student to safely spar against other students but also could increase their sharpness during outfield training against monsters.
Meanwhile I was choosing between a heavy Sword and a katana. Katanas are mostly used for cutting so they have extremely weak defence capabilities while heavy sword had both good offense and defence.
'Hmm, which one is better? Enough of the pros and cons let check the appearance. A heavy sword would make me look like a 'bad*ss' OP character while the katana would make me look like a cool samurai.'
In the end I decided to choose the katana because it would be more helpful in a confined space fight than a Heavy Sword and definitely not because of me looking like a cool samurai.
"BANG"
I heard a loud noise coming from the side where Edric was.
"Ah it finally started"
Edric proceeded to beat Leid until the Irene stopped them. Edric has a siscon problem, when he caught Leid perversely looking at Ruby, he got angry and started beating Leid. I mean if you care about your sibling, and someone had malicious intent toward anyone would get angry right?
I kinda supported Edric on this one, because I also knew how Leid was going to turn out in the future. Even I who despised bullying was tempted to join Edric and get a few hits in.
Leid would get his system next week due to the constant bullying he gets by those who tries to chase after Ruby.
'I should try to discipline him a bit in the future, as he is still a future SSS rank hero'
