Chapter 6 - A Parallel Dimension

"It just like this, Friks. In your house or elsewhere certainly you have looked in the mirror, right?" asked Arthure.

Friks nodded.

"When you look in the mirror, have you ever once put another mirror behind you and seek into the reflection?"

"Yes I have!" replied Friks, he remembered that when he was in elementary school he used to play with putting a glass in front of and behind him, he also once looked at his own reflection in the glass which made him very dizzy.

"Well, there were other shadows then, right? Shadows that were reflected and seemed to circle together behind those mirrors?"

"Yes!" Friks nodded he has looked the shadow Arthure says.

"That's how it was. This Earth and Aeros are like those reflections in space."

"Oooh, I see..." although he did not fully understand, Friks understood Arthure's analogy.

"Friks, Aeros needs the presence of the Star Archer Knights again. The Starins have calculated that there will be a huge planetoid that will intersect Aeros' orbital line within the next few quarkos. If this happens, Aeros will be destroyed, as well as the parallel world of Earth. It can be said that when Aeros explodes and is destroyed, the effect will be like a domino effect. Aeros and its parallel world, Earth, will be destroyed together, only the Star Archer Knight can stop this great catastrophe!" Kaytrin continued.

"In addition, Leburo has reasserted his dominance and spread terror throughout most of Aeros. Although the warrior clan has managed to withstand his efforts for the past 10 years, we fear that another threat from outer space will leave the warrior clan divided and weakened. We fear that Leburo will seize this opportunity to rule Aeros once and for all, bringing darkness to the entire world, but there is still hope if we can harness the power of the Sternhyst. Our world Friks, both Aeros and Earth desperately need the presence of the Star Archer Knights, only you can find Sternhyst and harness its great power to prevent the cataclysm of two worlds," Arthure continued.

"Leburo? Who is he?"

"He is the Lord of Darkness, the master of all vile evil creatures and the eternal enemy of good," Arthure explained again.

Friks was silent, his mind raged, the explanation Kaytrin and Arthure had given to him was far beyond his logic. What they described was more like a fairy tale or a fictional story from the novels Friks used to read, and now they were saying and believes that it was all reality? Then what Miilo's uncle had been telling him all this time was a reality and not just his uncle's imaginary fairy tales?

"Honestly, I still don't understand your story and I don't fully believe it," Friks said, stroking his hair, which was pointed upwards, a characteristic of Friks and his father, maybe because they were of the same blood, so they had similarities in terms of hair. Friks had tried dozens of times to relax his hair with hair oil, but it was useless, his hair always returned to its original shape, tapering upwards like porcupine quills.

"That's why we're here now, Friks, if you don't believe us, we'll convince you. We have been given the special task by the great seer Aeros to explain and guide the next Star Archer Knights".

"Come back later this afternoon after sunset, then we will show you everything!" Kaytrin asked.

"Well, I'll think about it, sorry, I have to go now!" Friks quickly left after finish drinking his coffemix with fast, stood looking at Arthure and Kaytrin for a moment. Grabbed his backpack and headed out of the coffeshop, and oops! For the umpteenth time he slipped again when stepping on the mat in front of the coffeshop door.

Arthure and Kaytrin looked at the scene as if to say 'what a sloppy kid!'

Robert, who was at the cashier's desk, just smiled meaningfully when Friks waved at him, maybe Friks was not yet ready for the destiny he had to live. But Robert as The Guardios believes that Friks will be able to fulfill his mission, he has to! Friks had to accept his destiny for the sake of two worlds. For Aeros and Earth.

Friks walked with many questions inside him, the explanations of Arthure and Kaytrin gave really confused him.

"Is it true that there really is another world similar to Earth? Aeros, a world in a parallel dimension. A world similar to Earth, but filled with magic and all kinds of wonders that only exist in fairy tales, if at all on this Earth?"

Friks looked up at the blue sky with white clouds floating like cotton. His father's smiling face was clearly visible among the clouds. Friks take a deep breathe.

"Father, is it true that I am a descendant of the Star Archer Knight clan like you? Then is it true that if I come to the other earth, to Aeros. Would I be able to meet you there?" Friks wondered.

Arriving in front of his house, Friks was stunned and just looked at the door of his house.

"Does Mom know that Dad and I are from Aeros? Then is mom the original human of this earth or is she also a resident of Aeros? But if Mom is from Aeros, then she should be able to go back and look for Dad, right? For the past ten years, I think I've only been able to suppress my desire to meet and find my father. Is that the reason? The reason why I can't find my father? Because Dad went to another dimension, to Aeros. While Mom is just an ordinary person living on this earth?"

A stray cat stared at Friks from the fence, perhaps wondering that the human hadn't come in and was just staring dreamily.

"I'd better ask Mother directly. This time I want to know the truth right away. If mom is still tight-lipped, I'll try to find out from uncle Miilo'sĀ instead!" Friks decided to go to open the door and go inside his house and meet his mother.

Friks did not know that his mother had prepared a surprise for him. Because earlier, after talking with Miilo, Yazmine had decided to tell her son everything she had kept secret for ten years. Everything that had happened and the reasons why she had to tell him.
