Robert muttered something and suddenly the room was no longer blocked, the heavy crates on top of it flying around strangely and arranging themselves like puzzle pieces in a corner. A large staircase emerged from the center. They went down the stairs, led by Robert and Elaine.
Robert was also the one who would open the portal together with Elaine, tonight they were dressed very strangely. Their clothes were hanging like robes, the front and the back were dominated by silver and gold stripes, interestingly there was an image similar to a combination of dragons and tigers carved exactly above the door of the cafe. They wore a hat that was square and pointed on both sides. The clothes they wore were the regalia of the Guardios clan.
Meanwhile, both Kaytrin and Arthure had returned to wearing their knight's armor. Although it was called armor, their clothing was as flexible as if it were made entirely of leather. Kaytrin's armor was mostly silver with green stripes. Arthure's armor was darker, mostly black with silver stripes. Friks smiled as he compared her dashing appearance to himself, who wore only jeans, a black t-shirt, and his usual sneakers. They already knew that Friks had a bow in his left hand, the symbol of the Star Archer.
Friks stared at the portal that opened in front of him and swallowed his saliva, although there was a little doubt in his heart, but he was determined, he must be able to find his father in Aeros.
No wonder Friks had never found the portal, even though he had explored every inch of Robert's coffee shop. Apparently, there was another room hidden beneath the warehouse where the coffee beans were stored. The huge room was blocked by a pile of heavy wooden crates.
Friks looked at Robert and Elaine, who stood in front of him while he built, and next to him stood Arthure and Kaytrin, proud and dashing in the typical armor of their knight clan.
The portal was elliptical in shape, almost resembling a large chicken egg, except that it seemed to be made of a gel-like liquid, but had ripples like water waves. However, the ripples did not come from the thin silver circle that covered it like a frame, enveloping the semi-transparent portal. In addition, the portal made a strange, subtle sound like a combination of bee buzzing and water gurgling, but it could only be heard when we were actually near the portal.
"Come on Friks, don't be afraid! Aeros is on the other side, let's go in!" shouted Kaytrin as she stepped into the portal right after Arthure, who then waved her hand at Friks as a sign to follow them and enter the portal immediately.
For a moment Friks hesitated again, he touched the portal with the tip of his index finger, it felt cold like ice water, he sighed, then he reaffirmed his resolve and stepped into the portal. Once inside the portal, his whole body immediately felt cold, all parts of his body felt tingling and there was a feeling like an electric shock, but in a low voltage. Then the tingling intensified and he saw himself fading away, followed by all the cells of his body disintegrating into tiny dust-like pieces.
Then suddenly a formless energy attracted the dispersal of his body, along with a light emanating from nowhere, what was clear was that the light was so blinding that Friks closed his eyes. After a while, the tingling sensation subsided, Friks body slowly warmed up, and the blinding light gradually disappeared.
Friks opened his eyes, his body had returned to normal, he had reached the other side of the portal. He was already in Aeros, the other side of the portal was in a room that was completely shiny silver. In front of Friks, Kaytrin and Arthure smiled at him.
Friks smiled back and tried to take a step, but suddenly his legs went weak and he fell to the ground. Friks felt his chest as if it was being squeezed by a big stone, while holding his chest Friks tried to get up, but again he fell, this time even on his back and with hard bump.
"Calm down, don't move yet! Your body is not used to the quantum portal dimension jump, rest first, breathe in slowly and let it out through your mouth, let your body adapt to the atmosphere of Aeros". Arthure tried to reassure Friks.
Friks followed Arthure's instructions and indeed his chest felt lighter now, slowly his body recovered to normal, but he felt stupid for falling twice and Kaytrin looked at the incident with a smile. A few minutes later Friks was able to stand up and breathe normally, but strangely enough the air that filled his nose and lungs now felt very light and warm, the warmth then spread throughout his body and Friks felt as if there was a veil of energy covering him.
He clenched his hands into fists, there was some kind of energy mist that gathered in both of his fists, although it was weak, but Friks could see that the mist was purple-blue in color, as if understanding the condition Friks was experiencing, Kaytrin said.
"The air here is the cleanest air in the universe Friks, you must feel something different in your breath, right?"
"You're right, I feel my body filled with energy, I feel much more powerful." Friks replied.
"I thiknk it's time. Let us go to the Great Oracle now!" said Arthure.
As they left the room, the Guardios at the end of the room nodded at them. His face was similar to Robert's, except that his eyes were blue, and he was wearing the same cloak as Robert.
As soon as they stepped out, the room folded and swirled and turned into a large cube-shaped rock. Friks who witnessed this event gaped in amazement.
The Guardios had closed the inter dimensional portal in Aeros, automatically closing the dimensional portal on Earth at the same time.
"We are finally back home on Aeros. No matter how peaceful and happy it is to be on Earth, Aeros is still my favorite place to come home to!" said Kaytrin.
Arthure nodded, "That's right, Aeros is our home for better or worse. We should prepare to go to the Great Oracle Palace and meet Her to take some advice now."
