*Oliver's POV*
I closed my eyes to sleep and let the sleep which have being calling me take place. I stretch out my hand to the bed side and switched off the lamp and picked my parents picture frame, one taken years back and placed it in my chest.

"Mom! Dad! Where are you?!" I said as I slowly walked down the stairs, holding onto the railings.
I reached the parlor and saw everything scatted and torn apart, like there had been fightings happening here. I walked through the mess and stopped when I stepped on a picture frame of my mom, dad and I in a park in summer.
The only summer we had a complete family time. Mostly they always attend park meetings and balls of different kinds.
I picked it up, held it to my chest and continued my search. I hope mom and dad were alright. They might just be playing one of their games. Maybe their favorite, which they loved using to scare me. Saying it was preparing me for a tough life ahead as alpha.
"Live cases! What will you do?"
I reached the front door and saw ten guards lying lifeless or maybe having a nap.
They must be dead.
It looks like their powers were sucked up. This wasn't looking like a game anymore.
I'm scared.
I raised my voice and shouted. " mommy!!" I waited a little for a reply, which came.
"Honey, don't come here...lots of clowns are here. Don't come here!" I recognize the voice as my mother's voice. Although it sounded too faint. She sounded scared.
As always, I have been stubborn. Although I dreaded clowns but my parents were in danger, my mother. I didn't have any powers yet. I was still a cub, just six.
I jacked the door open and ran out with my little legs looking for them .
"Don, get in now!" My father said using his alpha tone on me, but I didn't budge. My will to save them was just too much. I didn't submit.
I tracked their scents and found them on their knees, their hands tied behind them with silver chains, our weakness. Every wolf's weakness, even the strongest ones, like mom and dad, and alpha and Luna. Dead guards everywhere, the pool filled with blood and the garden flowers dying because of the dark aura surrounding us.
I looked at the bad guys and a lady beside him. It was way too dark to see his face, but I saw a scar in shape of a lightening above his eyebrows, down to his eyes. And the woman her white hair, styled bob.
"Son , how dare you not listen to your alpha and your father!" My father growled at me.
I said nothing but kept on looking at the perpetrators. They caused this.
"You brought your little son, how cute." He said and gave out a dark giggle.
"No please, don't touch him!" My mother said as she sobbed. For the first time I saw my mom crying bitterly.
"Save your tears for another day...oh, you won't be seeing another day. I will kill you first before killing him, your precious little son." He said wickedly and let out an evil giggle.
"Don't you dare touch my mate, or my son!" My dad growled.
"Pick one!" He said as he brought forth his claws and dipped it into something, which the woman with white hair was holding. She just stood beside him and watched. I guess it was wolf bane mixed with a rich amount of silver, because he groaned in pain.
He moved towards my father and then used his claws and plucked out my father's heart and ate it whole, swallowing it slowly as blood dripped down his claws.
"No!" My mother shouted as tears filled her eyes and slowly into mine. I watched as my fathers body laid lifeless on the ground. He dipped his hands into it again and plucked my mother's own next. My heart cut into two. I heard him laughing even louder and he started glowing a bright red. He absorbed all of their powers. Their blood spread slowly across the whole pavement, staining it red.
Both of my parents, gone in one night. I ran towards their lifeless bodies, and shook vigorously.
"Mom? Dad? Wake up. Stop this game. You are scaring me!!" I shouted and cried at the same time.
Hot tears beamed from my eyes, staining my cheeks.
"Baby boy, it isn't a game. This is real life and you are next... get him." The woman with white hair shouted to the guards behind her. That, I just saw.
Thousand of guards, ran towards me. I looked at my mom, she opened her eyes slightly and said. " Oliver, kill all those clowns."
"But...I don't have any..." I said trying to hold in my tears for later.
"Shh... you can do it. Concentrate. You got this. Make mom and dad proud. One thing you must never forget. Never bow to anyone." She said and she shut her eyes forever.
"No, no, no...." I shouted.
I jacked back to reality.
"Wake up. It's just a dream." Mr Andrew, my training tutor said to me patting my shoulders.
"You are ready!" He said with a smile, which I haven't seen for ages.
"What? How?!" I questioned with a puzzled expression.
"The park council said so, and has sent a letter to all the alpha crowning councils, they all approved and said you were ready!" He stated.
"You know me better than they do, I'm not." I still have nightmares of that night, still hunting me. I can't lead people of I'm so scared." I said as I sat up on the bed to look straight into his sugar grey eyes.
"You should...I mean who wouldn't. You saw your parents die right in front of you at age six...you will make a great alpha, Oliver. The alpha blood already runs through you at such an early age...like having your powers and wolf at age six, is super cool. I had mine when I first shifted, when I was seventeen, and I have to train real hard for my powers. you got this...trust me." He said.
One thing I know about mr Andrew, is that he is really good at encouraging and also discouraging. If he wanted you to do something, oh, he will make sure you will. If he didn't like the idea of you doing a thing, you will slowly agree with him, No matter how determined you were.
Maybe going home isn't a bad idea.
"Fine, I will go." I said in a calm voice.
"That's my boy." Mr Andrew said.
"I'm not a boy!" I shouted back.
"I know...first assignment, welcoming party of the new intakes, the training freshmen."
Duty calls.
