*Oliver's POV*
I gave out a loud sigh as I ran my hands through my dark brown hair, in frustration. I was running crazy with so much unfinished work. I looked at the large pile of files on my oak desk.
I heard a brief knock on my study door. I rose my head from the previous file I was checking, concerning the new cubs given birth to.
"Come in." I said loud enough as I looked back to the files in my hands.
"Alpha..." My beta said. He was the second in command after me and my Luna. Speaking of Luna, I missed her already.
I never thought I will be this addicted to the scent of my mate. Just the presence of my mate, could make me forget about all my duties as an alpha and my past pains
"What do you want." I said as I pushed my thoughts to the back of my brain.
"Alpha...a park in the east region came around our territory, arguing on our boundaries. But don't worry, I and some other park members chased them off after a good threatening." Justin, my beta said.
He was my most trusted right hand man. Like a brother I never had. His father, the former alpha took me in as his son, being that he was the beta to my father. He treated me as his own son. Although Justin isn't so serious with things concerned with the park, but when it comes to protecting it, he does a very good job.
He was just a flirt. He enjoys flirting with any girl, as far as she was good looking. I don't blame those girls that fall for him thought...he was actually good looking.
He had light brown hair, forest green eyes and a nice body build.
The door cracked open, as it banged against the wall with the amount of force applied on it. I got more furious. No one dares to barge into my office without any respect.
"How dare you!" I growled out as I looked at the guard shiver at the effect of my alpha voice.
"Sorry,Alpha..." he said as he bowed down to the ground.
"Stand." I said as I looked back to my files.
"Sorry to disturb you, alpha...but the recently disturbing rogues, step foot near our territory." He said with his eyes lowered to the ground.
"What! How dare those filthy rogues step foot near my territory!" I shouted as I jacked up from my chair.
"Let's go, now! ...call the other park warriors, right now! The fully trained ones. I don't want to risk any life." I shouted at commanding still using my authoritative tone.
He moved our quickly, so did Justin. I was getting angered. I could fell my wolf whimpering for release. I ran out of my study, with my werewolf speed.
I reached the guards hall, as I saw my park warriors coming out. They were little but I was sure it will do. The rest were on patrol and guarding the other park members and the whole park, incase any rogue has managed to sneak in.
"Ready?" I said as I pulled my hair backwards still trying hard to contain my wolf.
"Yes, alpha." They echoed together.
We moved out of the large park house, down to the large empty field. I looked ahead as I saw them all scattered out. Never arranged, they were just so disorganized. I couldn't blame them though, they had no ruler, no alpha. They just moved out in batches.
"What do you want!" I growled out for them to hear me. Some of them moved back in fear, and another moved forward. He looked older compared to the rest. He was huge, tall and looked well built. He was definitely their head.
"Nothing exactly...just felt hungry and thought we will do well to visit." He said with a smirk as he displayed his grown out canines.
"Go feed somewhere else...you have a chance to retreat or you can chose to die." I said.
"I don't think so...little boy." He said with a smirk as some of the rogues started changing into their wolf forms.
They looked all thin and skinny, obviously due to malnutrition.
"I'm not a little boy!" I shouted back as I signaled my warriors to fight. They immediately shifting, clothes torn all other the field as bones cracking filled the air.
The rogues ran towards our direction closing up the space between up and fully stepping into our territory, my territory. My warriors pounced on them as flesh flew around. Growling was heard as the fight took place, staining the once empty field red.
I just stood at the corner , watching my warriors finish the job neatly. I looked to the ground as I kicked some rocks off my foot.
Then I heard a whimper from one of my warriors. I looked up immediately as I saw the already changed rogue leader pouncing on his flesh and tearing it apart.
He sinked his canines so deeply into his neck, aiming to kill. He sucked out blood,tearing on his flesh. The warrior was getting weak, I could feel it since I was connected with all of them.
"Alpha...help me, please." I heard through the mind link.
I got angry, I couldn't bear to watching my park get hurt all over agin. Watching my park get destroyed once was enough. Watching my parents die, was a good enough sight. I could hear to see it all over again.
I could feel my eyes chasing colour, my wolf was furious. He was forcing his way out. I gave him the opportunity as I yielded myself fully to his calls. I felt my bones cracking as I finally turned wolf.
I don't have control anymore, all I knew was that as far as photia was out, I was sure my park members were safe and all this rogues were as good as dead.
