"Nikolai, do you recognize me?"
"I recognize you Jin, you're my boyfriend...F-Fake boyfriend whose cooking is making me c-consider tying the knot.
I'm my mom's s-son, she says it's not true but I know she married my d-dad for his cooking skills."
"So you don't have amnesia?" Jin asked, "No, didn't the d-doctor tell you?...I was having some so-sort of a nightmare about J-Julian so that's why I called his name." Nikolai replied.
"You're struggling to speak Niko? How are you feeling?" Jin asked, "I think I feel...better now that we're Alone by ourselves." Nikolai replied, "Besides, the d-doctor said it's normal to struggle with sp-speech due to the head injury I sustained." He added.
"Nikolai, do you have any idea how terrified I was?"
"I don't Jin...ugh, you know what? my head and eyes...th-they hurt a lot!"
"How bad is it?"
"You know, earlier I d-didn't mention it because I was confused...but ever since I woke up, my vision hasss been blurry, like I can barely see c-colors and shapes but it's just th-that.
As for F-faces or anything complex...I'm having difficultly focusing...I can't see them well." Nikolai mentioned it a little too casually.
But Jin's eyes widened, "You mean you can't see my face right now?" he asked Nikolai worriedly.
"I c-can tell where you're si-sitting, and what colors you're wearing...but I can't see your face clearly, everyti-time I try to focus, my head hurtsss more.
DAMN?! this room is too bright?! is there a way to d-dim the lights?!" Nikolai responded grunting.
"What else you're struggling with?" Jin asked, "The lights... just tell th-them to turn it off! I can't stand it!" Nikolai complained.
"Okay, lay back again and I'll go see the doctor, I'll see what I can do about the lights too." Jin said pushing Nikolai back on the bed gently.
"Speaking of which...I heard s-something... Rudy, is he really a nurse here?" Nikolai asked, "Apparently yeah! but from what I heard, they say he's a better person now." Jin replied.
"Out of the th-three of those jerksss, Rudy was the most likely to c-clean his act... I'm glad to know, he changed." Nikolai replied while trying to look at Jin's face.
Sighing, "Close your eyes, you'll strain them this way Niko." Jin said.
"Okaaaaay." Nikolai said playfully before he closed his eyes.
Taking the chance, Jin leaned in and kissed Nikolai's forehead quickly.
"I'll be Back, I'll let Minnie come inside to stay with you." Jin said before he walked away.
"I'm sorry." Nikolai blurted out before Jin could make it to the door.
"For what?" Jin asked, "I'm an Ass...hole! I poured a d-drink on your head when we met that day!...yet here you are, t-tucking me in and kissing my head." Nikolai replied chuckling.
Smiling to himself "See you soon Niko." Jin said, "That's...the lassst thing, J-Julian told me." Nikolai replied.
Without giving a response to that statement, Jin exited the room, sighing to himself.
"Is everything ok?" Minnie who was outside Asked him, "Go in with him, I gotta fetch the doctor." Jin replied.
"Why? is Nikolai not feeling well?" She asked, "I'm no doctor but I think he's dealing with partial blindness." He replied.
"Blindness?! Shit! Madame Finna be pissed!...didn't the doctor already check him out?! how come they didn't notice?" Minnie said horrified, "Doctors aren't magicians you know?! they wouldn't know for sure unless the patient tells them what's wrong...which Nikolai didn't.
He said he was confused earlier and didn't mention his symptoms." Jin answered her.
"Jesus Christ...I'll go inside, go find the doctor and tell Madame too, but hurry up!.
I have to go get something from my car in the parking lot later." Minnie replied.
"Okay, Try to keep him from using his eyes...and see if you can do something about the lights, he's sensitive to them now." Jin said before he hurried to get the doctor.
...Few minutes later...
"Wait here, it's best if we're not seen together." Seong-min said as she exited Flint's car.
"Explain why we're in a hospital?... HEY! SEONG-MIN! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Flint Shouted.
"Stop yelling and asking questions I'm obviously not going to answer." Seong-min still walking away, replied.
Flint followed her saying "I told you all about me, but I don't even know your last name!"
"Stop acting like you're My boyfriend!" Seong-min replied.
"But I thought I am?!" Flint said in a way that made Seong-min question if he was being serious.
"We're NOT!" she said, "But we went on dates?! we went to eat, walk even went shopping together...I payed for everything!" He said surprised.
"Friends do that too, besides it was you who insisted to pay." She replied.
But suddenly Flint caught up to Seong-min and grabbed her by the wrist.
"OW! LET GO!" she cried out, "You played me! is it Money you were after?!" Flint Asked.
"WHAT?! I'll let you know Asshole, I have my own money! I don't need yours!" Seong-min replied.
"Who the hell you're calling an asshole?! Huh YOU BITCH?!" Flint screamed startling her.
Seong-min reached secretly for the back pocket of her jeans, but before she can pull something out "Dude, mind letting go of the lady's wrist?" A voice cut them off.
"And who the fuck are you?" Flint asked. turning his face, "AWW! Flint you still look as fucked up as in highschool!
Heard you got famous and shit, do your followers know what kind of a man you are?" Minnie replied sniggering.
"Awesome, another bitch." Flint said making Minnie's smile drop, "Oh you shouldn't have said that bro." She said before pulling her gun out.
The moment Flint saw the weapon, he panicked, his grip around Seong-Min's wrist loosened up and the girl took the chance to escape and run towards Minnie.
"Do you recognize me now? Flint? it's Minnie, from the cheerleading team! we girls knew from first hand experience that you were a creep, and far more worse around women than your buddy Moses." Minnie said glaring.
"I'll walk away, don't shoot." Flint replied with his hands in the air as he backed his way to his car.
But before he got back into the car, "This isn't over." Flint said giving Seong-min a death glare.
"MAAAAN SHUT YO TRAP! Show your straight white male ass here again, and I'll pop both cheeks Motherfucker." Minnie replied to him.
In seconds, Flint drove away and Seong-min finally took a deep breath, "Thanks, I don't know you, but thanks for the help." Seong-min said, "I saw the knife you hid behind your back, I would've stabbed that Dick if I was you girl." Minnie replied sniggering.
"I sensed a better outcome when you showed up." Seong-min said.
Offering a handshake, "Smart!...I'm Minnie, Minnie Barlow.
I'm a bodyguard, that's why I'm carrying a gun if you're wondering." Minnie said smiling.
Accepting her handshake, "I figured so, I'm Seong-min...Young Seong-min." Seong-min replied.
"Young...Like Jin Young?...you kinda remind me of teen Jin." Minnie questioned, "He's my Half brother actually." Seong-min replied.
"DAMN?! and you with Flint?! your brother finna be pissed homegirl?!" Minnie stated with wide eyes.
"Pissed about what?!" Jin suddenly appeared, "Jin! how's Nikolai? I came as soon as Rudy told me he woke up." Seong-min asked.
"Digging with Flint in my mom's case, do you honestly think I'll let that slide Seong-min!" Jin said ignoring her questions.
"Shit, drama!" Minnie mumbled to herself, "Forget about it, As of today I won't work on that case anymore...and I ended my relationship with Flint just now." Seong-min replied.
"Just now?!" Jin questioned, "It's just that I was being too friendly with him I guess and he miss interpreted...Said he thought we're dating." Seong-min explained.
"Gurl it's not just 'it's Just'?! Flint was here a minute ago, he just attacked her and called her A bitch, I had to chase him away with my gun!" Minnie said.
Hearing her words, Jin who was already Upset, grew angrier "WHAT THE FUCK SEONG-MIN?! HOW CAN YOU TRUST HIM?! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS GO DO STUPID SHIT?!
YOU GOT FUCKING KIDNAPPED TWO YEARS AGO?! WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT!?" He yelled out.
Seong-min who was still shaken from before, bursted into tears, "I... wanted to help....you're *sobs* always alone...doing everything for... yourself I wanted to...*sobs* help." She said.
"That was too much buddy." Minnie whispered to Jin.
Going back a little to his senses, "Hey... I'm sorry I didn't mean to...well I meant to say what I said, not gonna lie.

How the hell did you even end up in this situation in the first place?" Jin asked.
"It's a long story...*sobs* I'm really sorry brother." Seong-min replied.
...[Flashback: Days ago.]...
Putting on her best smile on, Seong-min Bursted with energy into the cafe.
A couple of customers watched her in Awe as she walked towards Rudy and the Brown haired white man sitting with him, whom she assumed to be Flint.
The moment The man's eyes landed on Seong-min, his cheeks flushed red "Min!" Rudy who was unhappy about babysitting Flint, waved as soon as he saw Seong-min.
"Is that her?" Flint asked, "Seong-min is the girl I told you about, who wants to help you.
She wanted to meet you so I arranged this meeting." Rudy replied standing up.
"Hey buddy where you going? you didn't order anything for yourself." Flint was confused.
Whispering "Listen, first of all we're not buddies Flint, not anymore.
Second, I'm only tolerating you because of her, so you better treat her nice because if anything were to happen to her, you're dead." Rudy said before walking away.
"Rudy, I came as soon as you told me!" Seong-min said cheerfully, "Be careful around him, call me or text me if anything's wrong." Rudy whispered to her before he hurried outside.
"Rudy?! Man hold on? why are you acting like This? we haven't seen each others in years!" Flint wanted to follow Rudy, but Seong-min stopped him by offering a handshake.
"Hey, I'm a huge true crime fan! and I asked Rudy to set up this meeting after he told me you were a friend of his, he told you my name right?" Seong-min said.
"Y-yeah, Seong-min...did I pronounce it correctly?" Flint replied unsure.
"You did alright." Seong-min replied chuckling.
"So you're a fan of my channel?" Flint Asked, he was still flabbergasted by her presence, his cheeks still a bit red.
"Yes! you must have come here to look for a new unsolved case, am I right?" Seong-min Asked.
"Actually no...I came here for personal reasons." Flint replied.
"Oh? what a shame! I was hoping to offer you a case." Seong-min said faking her disappointment.
"Hey now! Don't frown, your pretty face is better with a smile on." Flint said, although Seong-min cringed a little inside, she managed to fake a good smile.
"You think I'm pretty?" She said, "You're my type actually, Um...how old are you?" Flint asked.
"18 actually." Seong-min replied, her cringing got worse as she watched a big smile form on Flint's face.
"How about this then, I'll listen to what you have to say, if you let me take you out for dinner tonight...we can talk while having a nice meal." Flint suggested.
"Are you paying?" Seong-min replied, "Of course! I'm a gentleman! and if you want, I'll pick you up for the dinner Myself." Flint said.
"No Need, you can have my number and send me the location, I'll come myself." Seong-min replied.
"Whatever the lady wants." Flint said chuckling as he pulled out his phone to register her number.
"Oh BTW! what's your secret on solving crimes that police can't?" Seong-min asked.
Grinning, "That's simple! stop thinking like the police! if you're catching a criminal, think like one." Flint replied.
