While making dinner, Jin noticed his sister that was keeping him company in the kitchen, was zoning out quite frequently.
"Seong-min are you alright? you've been spacing out for a while...you know you can tell me whatever that's on your mind." Jin said, "I don't think I'm straight anymore, I'm at least bi." Seong-min replied.
"Huh?" Jin said surprised, "huh?" Seong-min realizing what she said, replied.
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
"HUH?"
"HUH?
"Stop it you two, Are you going to keep saying 'Huh' back and forth?!" Nikolai who was trying to make his way to the kitchen table, spoke up.
Nikolai nearly tripped so Jin hurried to him, "Why did you get up? I was going to bring you your food to bed." Jin asked placing an arm around Nikolai's waist to support him.
"I can find my way, I'm not totally blind and this is my house after all." Nikolai replied trying but failing to actually find his way on his own, "Still, I'm here to help, you don't have to do everything on your own baby." Jin said.
"Baby...*scoffs* look at him enjoying the role of my boyfriend." Nikolai mumbled to himself.
"I'm making chicken noodle soup if you're wondering, Oh! and I'll feed you myself." Jin said proudly, "Stop being good to me, I'm supposed to hate you." Nikolai replied jokingly.
"Would you prefer I be bad to you." Jin said seductively.
Flustered, "Damn! your sister's right here you pervert!" Nikolai whispered.
"Mwo?(what?)...You challenged me!" Jin said guiding him to a chair, "I know challenging you is a bad thing, just like that time in the convertible car...you really had me wrapped around your finger, Or should I say...hand?" Nikolai casually spoke as he sat down.
Although he couldn't see it for himself, Nikolai was sure That Jin was now a Blushing mess, he could tell just from the way the redhead bodyguard made an escape from the conversation, by going back to cooking.
Seong-min who was sitting across from Nikolai, Was fangirling as the two goofed together, she didn't realize she was staring hard.
She hid a big dumb smile on her face behind her hands, as she imagined what could have happened in the so called 'convertible car'.
"I don't know why I have a feeling you're staring at me, Seong-min...if you are, I suggest you tone it down." Nikolai said, Clearing her throat, "I'm sorry, Nikollai-ssi." Seong-min replied.
"Hey, I heard you and my mom are getting Along." he spoke again, "Kinda!...she's unique.
You don't look like your mom btw." Seong-min said.
"That's because I look like my dad, obviously." Nikolai replied annoyed as he fidgeted in his seat, he was annoyed he couldn't see clearly and didn't know where to look exactly.
"Is your parents relationship doing good?" Seong-min suddenly asked, despite Jin mouthing to her to shut up.
"I bet if reincarnation is a real thing, Those two would find Their way to each other in every lifetime." Nikolai replied, "Also, why are you asking?" he added.
"No specific reason, I find your parents relationship to be cute...even after all these years, they seem so in love." Seong-min said, "A happy marriage is unheard of in my family." she added in a sad tone
Jin who was glaring at her to shut up earlier, stopped his glaring, seeing how sad she got.
Feeling the low atmosphere, "If you're wondering, My mom is bisexual." Nikolai spoke up, "And as charming as she can be, don't fall for her." he added jokingly.
"Don't get me wrong! I'm not interested in her...the last thing I want to be is a homewrecker." Seong-min replied nervously.
"I'm not judging you, I know she's a very desired woman." Nikolai stated.
"Actually...I have one more question Nikollai-ssi." Seong-min said.
"Go ahead, I'm listening." He replied.
"Have you ever felt jealous of your parents, like of their strong relationship?" she asked.
Slightly smiling, "All the time...they're soulmates! the way they love, accept and cherish each other is jealousy worthy." Nikolai replied, he tried to glance at Jin's direction and added, "I expected my relationship to be just like theirs...or better.
in the past I thought that was impossible, but lately I'm starting to doubt whether happiness is really impossible for me."
"If you want to be treated a certain way, you should act a certain way." Seong-min said, "You mean if I want Jin to treat me in a certain way, i should do the same for him." Nikolai replied.
"I'm glad we're on the same page." Seong-min said smiling, scoffing at her "The audacity the Youngs have, I'm sure it would take me a lifetime to find where you got it." Nikolai replied.
"50/50, that's how any relationship should be, you give and you get.
I'm aware he messed up in the past, but don't be a bully now Nikollai-ssi...Jin is worth a 'real' shot." Seong-min said staring Nikolai dead in the eyes.
"So you do know, brat."
"I knew from the start that this was fake, but I can tell acting has became difficult for you Nikollai-ssi."
"Seong-min stop it." Jin spoke-up firmly, "Calm yourself, I'm leaving anyways." Seong-min replied before standing-up.
"Going where?!" Jin asked, "Home, earlier I had a running with Ha-yoon, she said you're not replying to her calls either and she's hella mad.
She was determined to drag me out of the hospital, but Minnie and Madame Radka stopped her...I should go home and apologize for what happened, it was unnecessary." Seong-min replied.
"Isn't it dangerous for you kid?" Nikolai asked, "Minnie promised to drive me back, I'll be fine." Seong-min replied walking away.
"I'll be back." Jin said to Nikolai before he went after his sister, he caught-up with her at the door, stopping her as she wore her shoes.
"I'm leaving, don't convince me otherwise...I know my presence is bothering both of you." Seong-min said.
"True, but you're still my sister...I can't let you go anywhere at this late hour." Jin replied.
"I'm going with Minnie, I'm not alone besides...your job is to protect Nikollai-ssi, not me." Seong-min said before she walked outside.
Jin wanted to follow her, but he chose not to, he went back to Nikolai and found him struggling to pour himself a cup of water.
"Both of you are stubborn...neither want my help." Jin mumbled to himself.
...Some Time later...
"Thanks for the ride Minnie! and for buying me food and ice cream, you really didn't have to." Seong-min said as she stood outside Ha-yoon's place, carrying a bag of ice cream.
"I gotchu girl! Madame said to treat you well so you can count on me for help." Minnie replied winking.
"The lights are out, I bet Ha-yoon went to sleep...sounds like I have to use my keys." Seong-min stated as she stared at the house, "I heard you're a big fish, loaded!...you can stay anywhere you like so...
Why her? why Miss Kim? she seems like a handful too." Minnie asked.
"Handful? sure.
But I believe She's a good person, Ha-yoon just ends up making bad decisions out of fear and love, I hope she can make up for everything she's done.
As for why I chose to stay here, it's because she's my friend...the big sister I never had." Seong-min replied smiling.
"Well I hope you don't make bad decisions too, you're too kind for your own good, do you realize that?" Minnie said.
Sighing, "I know...Anyways, you can go and Thanks again for the ride." Seong-min replied.
"Okay, you have my number just in case, goodnight." Minnie said before she hopped back into her car.
Seong-min stood at the front door, watching as Minnie drove away before she took out her keys to unlock the door.
As she turned around to put the key in the hole, someone grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth with a handkerchief, "I told you, this was not the end." A voice said.
Unable to scream, Seong-min struggled to free herself, the handkerchief was soaked in Chloroform and she could feel her Consciousness slipping away as she inhaled it.
And before long, her keys fell off from her hand as she passed out.
...Meanwhile...
"What?" Nikolai asked, "Oh?!...I just had a weird feeling." Jin said.
"About earlier...what your sister said."
"Don't mind what she says, Seong-min is emotional because I was mad at her for what she did."
"I do mind what she says, because she's right." Nikolai stated, "I should treat you better Jin, or at least how I want to be treated." he added.
"Niko..."
"Don't start with the 'I deserve this bad treatment' bullshit...I believe you've gotten more than enough punishment, Jin." Nikolai said.
"Thank you, for saying that." Jin replied.
"So, how about we have our first 'real' date?...well not so real, considering that we can't leave this place at the moment, but we'll make it work." Nikolai said smiling.
"What date?" Jin asked confused, "Despite that we had dinner, I'm Still hungry...for something sweet.
You said earlier that Minnie called and said she'll be bringing ice cream with her, right?" Nikolai said.
Nodding, "Yeah? why?" Jin asked.
"I miss work already and I want to have some fun, so let's do some acting...think of it as a game!
When the ice cream comes, let's set up the scenery and pretend we're out for a dessert.
We'll introduce Each Other new, talk and eat ice cream as if we're on a blind date...it's not like we can have a movie night instead, *giggling* since I'm technically as blind as the date is supposed to be." Nikolai suggested.
"What about the girls? they're all over the house guarding, it'll be difficult to ignore Their presence, especially Minnie." Jin asked, "They can all help out, like a filming crew!
for example, Minnie can pretend to be a waitress, the girls can decorate the place...I'm sure the ladies would like it.
And that Way, the girls can keep an eye on me, while i have some fun with you." Nikolai Replied sniggering.
The more he thought about the idea, the bigger Jin's smile got.
Nikolai was warming up to him even more, and the idea of this date despite its weirdness, was also cute to him.
"Alright! I'm in on the idea!" Jin replied enthusiastically, "Funny, I can tell you're smiling like an idiot right now...well you better get your script ready Jin, soon enough it'll be 3,2,1 Action!" Nikolai replied smiling as well.
...Some Time later...
"Okay, Act natural! You're doing this in the name of love!" Minnie said encouraging herself in the mirror, she was in the bathroom practicing for the last time, the lines Nikolai gave her.
The moment the actor told her about the plan and what role she'll be playing, Minnie agreed immediately to play her part, Although nervous, she was also excited.
The other girls did a quick but good job setting the scenery for the date, they decorated the living room well, and even added few More tables and chairs to make it believable.
Some of them went even as far as dressing up, to act as other customers.
Nikolai who was wearing sunglasses for dramatic effects, sat alone on his table anxious but thrilled.
He heard the other bodyguards chuckling, telling him encouraging words, "Go Nikolai!" one girl whispered.
in a second, Jin walked in and sat across from Nikolai, He smiled as he said, "You must be Nikolai! I'm Jin, your date."
"I wish I could tell you, you look handsome Jin but you know." Nikolai replied pointing at his Sunglasses, making Jin laugh.
"It doesn't matter, I'm not as handsome as you." Jin said.
Approaching them with a big smile, "Gentlemen, are you ready to order?" Minnie asked.
"Yes!" both of them replied together.
